Micah had been leaving with the Bryant's for over two months now, the bond he was developing with them was getting stronger with time specially with the kids and Jo.

She took care of him in ways only a mother would, Thomas was more conservative but was also very polite and friendly.

Alex would only do the hinges his older brother did, Maria was no longer daddy's girl now she was Micah's girl and baby Nicho also felt comfortable with his big brother, but the most important thing was that Micah also felt good been their older brother.

Joalin insisted that the whole family should learn sign language and Thomas was trying his best to learn and be a supportive father.

At the beginning Thom felt like there was no place for him in Micah's life, but soon he realised that the boy needed him as much as mom, there were things only a father could teach his son and he was in for it.

_Micah are you ready?_ he asked shouting from his room.

_Almost!_ got an answer the same way.

_Can you two stop screaming for God's sake, even Nicho is more quiet than you two together_ Joalin got into the room holding Alex in her arms. Lately he was very needy of her attention.

_What about you young man?_ Thomas took Alex little hand and gave it a kiss_ Can't you give mommy a break?_ he tried to pick him but the boy refused his arms_ That is what I call favouritism!

_ He's been acting like this for two weeks now, do you think we should hire a counselor or something?

_No!_ he smiled kissing the boys head_ I think he is just getting a little spoiled.

_Dad I'm ready_ Micah said getting into the room smiling.

As soon as the couple signed the papers to keep him, Joalin basically ordered him to call them mom and dad, and he liked the idea actually.

_Lets go my boy_ Thomas was so excited to spend the day with a child he didn't need to change diapers_ I can't wait for this match!_ he organized a football game with some of his friends and employees just to keep his son happy and busy.

_See ya mom!_ he said sending her kisses.

_Behave you two!_ she warned watching them leave.

As the boys left, Joalin spent the day with her babies, Maria spent all day watching her cartoon, while Nicho was laying next to her and Alex clinging on her arm, he was acting like that for weeks now and Joalin was getting concerned about it.

_Milady, you have visit?_ the maid announced

_Who is it?

_Ma'am you need to go downstairs, but please remain calm_ Mazy warned her pacifically.

_Why would I need to calm down_ she got up leaving the kids on the bed_ Please watch them for me Mazy, I'll be right back.

Joalin headed to the guest room to find out who was waiting for her, it must be someone she hated for Mazy to warn her.

She entered the room just to find the person she hated the most on the world, maybe even the only person she hated.

_What are you doing here?_ her mother was looking different, she was wearing expensive clothes and jewelry. Did Thomas paid her that much in exchange?

It was still revolting the fact that Thomas bought her and Maria to begin with, but she learned to love him... But seen her mother right now made all the hatred come back to life.

_Is this how you talk to your mother?_ suddenly another woman came behind her, her hair was as dark as Thomas and but her features reminded her of Lucas... No..._ I see my son hasn't thought you how to behave yet?

_You are... You are Thomas mother!_ although it sounded like, that wasn't a question. She knew deep down her heart that that woman was Sher in-law.

__Claudia Bryant!_ she raised her hand expecting for Joalin to kiss it, but that kiss never came_ Oh... I see we'll get along just fine.

_I understand you might've came to visit your son but what about you_ she faced her mother_ What are you doing here? How shameless can you be after all you did to us?

_She is my guest and this is my son's home and I can bring whoever I feel like.

_I am Thomas wife which means this is also my house_ Joalin knew that woman was wicked.

_Don’t be foolish little girl, my son owns me all his loyalty and no one else's.

_You must be really perverse to become friends with my mother_ she realized_ What is it what you want?

_We just came to pay a little visit to our kids and grandkids honey_ Zoella smiled shady at her daughter.

Joalin was so innocent, she had no idea of what Claudia had prepared for her.

The young blonde decided not answer their instigation anymore and focus her energy in her children, both Zoella and Claudia weren't worth her time.

Thomas and Micah returned home dinner time and his jaw dropped when he saw his mother standing there waiting for him. That woman put him through so much pain and agony during his childhood and teenage years.

Growing up with her was a torment, she was a narcissistic, egotistic, psychotic b***h and although he knew that she also molded him to respect and obey her like a loyal puppy, it's crazy how years of mistreat can turn one into a slave mentally.

Joalin was numb and so was him, both of them were lost, Micah was the one who put the kids to bed, he noticed how the presence of those women disturbed them, he knew a thing or two about toxic parents too. He would try his best to keep the babies away from those snakes and give time for Joalin and Thomas to sort this out.

By the end of the night Joalin rested her head on Thomas chest after a passionate love making session, they felt the need to relief all their stress with each other. Joalin was counting on him to solve the situation and he knew it, but he also didn't knew what to do.

For now, all they could do was rest in each other's company.
