Ignoring his howl, when I hear Alicia reply, I run. This time I’m prepared. I have a plan that is going to work. They won’t recognize my scent, so Damian won’t be able to blame it on me. I’m surprised to find that their warriors aren’t as many as I expected.
I successfully hide from the border patrol warriors and make my way as close to the pack house as I can without being seen. I spend the next two days watching and hiding until I finally see Flare and instantly my anger flares.
I have to get up close. I make it close to the house and figure out some of Flare’s movements. I’m also surprised that Flare doesn’t have all the guards around her. She’s always been weak. On my way here, I was thinking I would probably have to use the second vial just to get rid of her guards.
