Simon returns and the first thing I see is the blood on his shirt. I rush over to help him, but he shoves me out of the way with such force that I land on my a$s on the floor. Behind him, the beta walks in, and he gives me his hateful look before they both disappear into Simon’s office.
I’m his mate! His destined mate. Why won’t Simon acknowledge it? My eyes fill with tears, but I blink them away. There is just one thing for me to do. I have to get rid of Flare. Simon is not going to give up as long as she’s alive!
If she’s gone, he will have no other choice but to accept me. I get up and look around, trying to figure out what to do. As soon as I have an idea, I storm out of the house. I pick a fight with one of the warriors on the way, and she reacts the way I hoped.
