Chapter 1

10 years after

Lilly Pov:

I sat beside Maria's chair while she talked on the phone with her son. I ignored the conversation respectfully as I soaked up the summer sun on the open marble porch. Rose was lying beside me on her crème colored pillow under her umbrella. I stretched rolling on my back bumping into my sleeping sister. She moaned curling up. I froze waiting for rose to wake up but she stay asleep. I let out the breathe I was holding and moved away from my younger half-sister.

I had always been the quiet reserved one while Rose was the loud and spoiled one. Due to the fact that she enjoyed getting all the attention and hated it when the attention wasn’t on her.

I hadn’t understand why Rose loved being fawned over but she was only 7. I hated when people would touch me and play with my hair or touch my body like I was their toy. But I could never say anything or I would get punished. I didn’t like getting pattle by our human maid Wanda.

"Lilly will be great for you.” Maria said catching my attention. Maria smiled running her hands through my long auburn brown hair.

"It’s about time you have your own pet since you’re an alpha now and besides she is about to be 17 in a day. We could send her to the academy after her birthday. “Maria said going on.

"No more talking, it has been decided and you will be her master when she turns 17." Maria said sternly into the phone. I bit my lip worried. Had I done something wrong? Was it the fact I was a teenager now? I bit back tears worried about my fate, I didn’t want to become a breeder like my mom.

Maria got off the phone shortly after picking me up like I wasn’t 135 pounds teenager.

"Why are you crying my lovely girl?"

"I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be a bad"

"Bad? Why would you think that sugar?" Maria said rocking us back in forth.

"You’re giving me to another master." I said trying to hold back my tears.

"We are giving you to Ian. Do you remember our son? He has become the alpha and we thought it would be nice if he had you beside him, while he finish school. You use to follow him around and play with him when you two were little." Maria said brushing my hair from my oval face.

"Ian is going to be my master?" I said scared and excited. He was two years older than I was I think.

"That’s right and you have to look your very best when he comes for dinner tonight to impress him. I’ll send the maid to help you prepare. We will always get to see you when he finishes school." Maria said rubbing her tan forehead against mine. Her pretty blue eyes flashed yellow for a minute before turning back. Her eyes always did that when she hugged or showed love towards us.

“Now go wash up and get ready for tonight Lilly." She said patting my back before showing me off. I obey going up the white marble stairs. My sandals slapping the bottom of my feet while my big sweater kept falling of my bare shoulder due to me wearing a maroon tank top instead of a tee.

The Hillgaurds didn’t allow their pets to run around in lingerie as most owners did. They allowed us to dress modest when no visitors were here and we had our short dresses with spanks underneath when we had to entertain guest. But tonight I would have to be in a short dress without them because I was being present to Ian.

I was nervous about the dinner since I hadn’t seen Ian for 10 years because he had attack me when we were younger. I still had a small scar on my shoulder were his claw had got me. I touched it absent minded before going into our room.

Rose and I shared a huge room. It had a huge four post bed in the middle of the room where the windows were behind it and on each side of the bed had a closest and bed stand. I went to our bathroom where Wanda was waiting for me to get into the already prepared bath. I took off my clothes and got into the honey scent water. I sighed as I relaxed into the water.

"This is the dress you will be wearing and the collar to." Wanda said showing a revealing pink dress That had a see through train behind it there were little flower all over it making them look like they had fallen on the dress. It was beautiful.

The collar was made of diamond with little pink jewel in between them. With a pink Lilly dangling from the center. It looked more like a choker than a collar.

"You’ll be going barefooted tonight out of respect for Ian."

"Why do I have to go barefooted for?”

“It’s a tradition to do so when presenting you to him." Wanda said brushing my hair as it dangle from outside the tub. I shrugged off the shoe thing relaxing as Wanda did my hair before leaving the room in a half up do with a braid.

When I finally decided to get out of the tub it was ten minutes before dinner would start. I gasped getting out the tub and getting myself dried and slipping on the dress. It fit well against my big chest and hips. I smiled giving myself a twirl before putting the collar on and do a once over before heading downstairs to dinner.

I sat at the small mahogany table with Rose and waited for our masters. Rose was dressed in a baby doll yellow dress with bloomer under it and black shiny shoe that had white frilly sock that went to her knees. Her blonde hair had been curled and a bow was place at the back of her head to make her look like a doll. I smiled at her before the dinner bell rang as the dining room doors open.

I held my hands together and stood up bowing as our masters took their spots.

"You may be seated." Alistair husky sounding voice said before the sound of chairs were moved and replaced. We waited until he cleared his throat giving us a sign we could sit.

“Aren’t they well behaved?" A soft husky voice said from the long dining room table. I kept myself from looking knowing it had to be Ian.

"Yes, they are, we did get the best tutors to teach them." Maria said proudly. I had been taught in six different language, math, English, history and pet etiquette before I turn 12 and Rose was getting taught as well.

"I do plan on training my pet to defend herself and she will have to be in shape to keep up with me during my training sessions with the younger wolves in the academy." Ian's smooth voice was making small shivers go down my back.

"She already runs five miles a day and we will make sure she has been trained in self-defense as well." Alistair said taking a drink from his scotch glass.

"So which one is mine." Ian said leaning his elbows on the table. I could feel his eyes on us.

"Lilly dear say hello." I stood up going towards the end of the table and bowed to Ian before looking up at him.

He was breathe taking. His short dark hair was spiked up in the front and showed off his chiseled jawline. He had slight plumped lips and his green eyes that held my gaze freezing me to the spot. I could feel his dominance wash over me making me feel weak. I quickly looking away from him ignoring the butterflies I had in my stomach.

"It’s pleasure to meet you Master Ian."

"As well as you Lilly." He said sitting back down. I waited for him to allow me to be seated.

"You may sit down now" He said nonchalant. I bowed before returning to my seat feeling like I had failed to capture his interest.
