Chapter 4

I knew I took too much of her blood as she laid naked against my bare chest. She was already becoming cold from her damp body. I pulled away from her wrist licking it closed. The scar on her shoulder disappeared.

I worked quickly drying her off before slipping her blue lingerie over her slim body. I pressed her against me and laid her on the big light blue floor pillow. I put her blanket on her and the extra one on the bed as well.

I knew mother would kill me for making Lilly sick from being too cold.

"She is already disobeying you what a bad pet” Sam said smugly as she slipped her clothes back on.

"Hush she is use to my parents orders not mine." I said coming back to the bed. Sam smiled flashing her yellow eyes at me.

"Well maybe tomorrow we could break in the bathroom." She said with her annoying non seductive voice.

"I will be busy with pack business and family gathering." I said looking at her seriously.

"Fine but you owe me." She said putting her heels on and walking out.

"Why do I even give that girl my time?" I sighed rubbing my hands against my face. I looked at Lilly who was paler than usual.

Lilly whimpered in her sleep before curling up with a stuffed dog she had gotten from my parents. I rolled my eyes before heading to my office. I had still a few more proposals to go over.

I sat down in my chair starting up the computer. I closed my eyes feeling the high from Lilly's blood.

Human blood was like a drug for us wolves . Vampire needed it to survive but wolves used it to feel human emotions that the human had experienced during the bloodletting.

Lilly had felt ashamed she had been caught disobeying and confused on why she had enjoyed me licking her wounds. I smirked knowing I would have her wanting to be by me like she had when she was a child in no time.

It didn't matter that she was human. I wanted her to want me as bad as I needed her. she was my mate that I wasn't allowed to be with because she was a human. Even though I couldn't have her as my mate didn't mean I had to live without her.
