Chapter Four- The Embrace Of Heartache

425 Words
The castles sanitarium was a place that most of us travelers tended to stay away from. It was a room full of ghosts that loomed around, sabatoging and harassing people. "Why, there you are..." I found Tara in there ripe and full of scar tissue, and I could not bare it any longer. I grabbed my sword, and fended them off while grabbing her at the same time. We left with uncertainty. I brought her to the king Thermald, and told him where I found her. "My doll was in there." "I don't care." I realized soon that I had forgotten to find the doll for the little girl, and that it was dreadful. I felt really bad about it. On the evening, I told her that I was sorry. I had a bad feeling that she was going to tell her father that I had promised to get the doll. The people in the ward needed to tended to horribly, I noted to King Thermald later after the event. "Well, there has to be a couple of therapists around here." The silence cut dreary throughout our living chambers. The King hired a couple of therapist and another guard from some people traveling throughout the castle. "The lovely brown hair was done perfectly and your eyes, they were like a light chocolate that I stare into every time I embrace you." They were meaningless words only because he didn't have a way to tell her. However, he definitely meant what he said. Often he would wake up in cold sweats from a horrible nightmare. Often, in these dreams he wouldn't make it from running away from the monsters. It was whenever he went into the dungeons of the castle, he saw gloomily there would be ghosts of prisoners, and guards. The encounters with the horses seemed to be happening with more and more going missing, and seemed to be a little preoccupied. A memory. A great one. The King Thermald sat on his throne with me by his side guarding his every move. In came the most beautiful maid that I loved. She was tending to the queens daughter, who happened to be Tara. Butterflies and heartache made me realize that she was going to go away for a decent amount of time. Her baby bump was showing. When the dance started, I danced with her, and held her stomach. I let her rest her head on my shoulder for one last time. She never came back, yet I would always hold that memory fondly.
