"The beautiful woman that I see at night, the strange glow of her hair, the beautiful brown eyes that glisten even in the moonlight. She's everything to me. Her names Claudia."
Claudia broke down in tears right in front of me, and I held her in my arms. I hoped for the safe arrival of our child, and let her sob into my arms.
"I'm never going to leave you.... If I do I will come back, I promise."
My job was more like a prison in despair, but I lived to serve the king and only the king. Tara was out playing cards with her doll whenever I arrived to greet her. She had on a blue and lavender dress, and her hair done up.
"How are you doing today?"
"My mother is being difficult on my father."
"Well, that sucks."
We chatted for a bit, but I noticed she was my only friend.
She was really close friends with Claudia, and so was the mother. We always made sure no one ever saw us out together, but we couldn't really tell. We played it off by ear while I had my six senses open and aware of anything that could harm Claudia.
Tara continued playing with her doll.
She was only around 4 at the time, and was very literate.
I found Claudia in her bedroom chambers, but couldn't quite pinpoint where she was.
"I'll always love you. No she doesn't know anything."
She put a wet rag over her face. Her pregnancy was taking a toll on her.
"You should get some rest."
I walked back out to the area I was staying at when I heard the low growl of a dog.
It was a hunting dog. But what was a hunter doing here?

The memory still wedged into my mind, I even sought out the kings word.
He told me I could not marry.
I left matters alone. If it was meant to be, it would be meant to be.
