Walking in the forest, at night, took away from me the guts I had gathered with a lot of effort. It was disorientating to not be able to see everything with clearness. Even the soft susurration of the wind felt heavy in my ears, and the close and thick atmosphere of the place wasn't reassuring. A sense of claustrophobia nailed its claws around my body, all I wanted was to run to a safe place. The perpetual darkness gave little help to our vision, making it hard for us to walk around without stepping in a branch. Adding in the fact that the trees were a thick maze of woodland, cutting off space, not allowing us to maneuver through.
