Chapter 3James had the most striking green eyes that Chad had ever seen. They didn’t have a single fleck of brown. They weren’t dark around the iris and lighter on the outer edges. They were a solid, arresting green. The sort of green that reminded Chad of spring. It had been the very first thing Chad had ever noticed about the man. How could he not notice it?
