Chapter4

Natasha's voice seemed to long gone and faded, she was unable to utter a word

To her utmost amazement she was kept in awe.

She answered every bit of the question thrown at her. It was not that easy, she yelled at them in her mind.

Her dad's resolution to marry her turned her life into a living nightmare.

"~I suppose this is, from the fact that I didn't even like nor love my so-called husband."

"~love??!...with a ruthless and arrogant Andrew"

"~Well, he has been my dad's manager for years now"

"~fall in love?!...Nah a man doesn't even respect me, so egoistic"

"~no freaking hell way will I marry this man, emotionless, ruthless, arrogant and mannerless human being"

While on the stage, Andrew walked up to the stage, he was wearing a navy blue button up and black star spangled tie with a gray vest. She followed his torso down until she met a shiny black belt holding up his dark-washed jeans.

"Well at least he wears, which I like for myself"

He caught her staring and eyed her, he gave her a smile. Immediately she redirected her attention to the corner of the stage. The decorations of the hall were really impressive.

Andrew faced the audience with grins on his face, near Natasha's Dad.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, at this point I wish to join the both together officially"

Standing in between the both of them. He stretched out his hand for Natasha's and Andrew's…Grabbing the both hands together he gripped them on each other.

The Audience gave them a rounds of applause, shouts erupted from the hall

Screaming "Congratulations! Congratulations!"

Congratulations?!Only if they actually know what I'm getting myself into.

Natasha gave Andrew an awkward smile. They both held hands together.

The atmosphere was filled with shouts and screams, the DJ continued the music louder.

"I still can't believe how my life changed within a few minutes, I can't imagine that the world's best Dad to me treaded this path dragging me against my own will. I know he is my father and also strict but-..."

"Does he even care about the Duties to himself?!"

"Announcing this again during the past dinner, I thought that it was an expensive joke. But now it is too much of a joke"

"I can't sacrifice my life dreams and happiness for this"

"Open the door Natty!! Natty please! Natty…Please open it"

Ethan and Delmira were banging at her door.

"Just go away!! I don't want to talk to anyone!! Just go leave me alone" She yelled back at them.

"At least eat something, you haven't eaten since we came back yesterday…you will fall sick" Ethan's caring voice came from the door.

"Why do you talk as if you all care"

"Natty, please don't say that you know that I love you !!"

"Oh yeah!!, I can see that by you banging on my door (she gives a fake laugh), after tagging with Dad and Mom to destroy my life. You knew about turning my birthday party into an engagement party without notifying me, you couldn't even speak for me!" She tried to control the tears from her eyes which seemed out of control.

"I'm really sorry Natty!! I can explain please!"

"Explain what?!... I'm not ready for you guys to cook up an explanation. It has gone, all in the past. There will be no need for that."

"I remain stuck here, am not going anywhere until you here us out and open this door"

"Natty, open this freaking door right now, do you hear me?!" It was Delmira

"It's not her fault, no need of being angry with her"

"I heard you Mira, but I don't need any company now" she stated as matter of fact to her

"Will you gonna open this door or not?!"

She sighed and rose to her feet and dragged the bolted door open.

Delmira came inside and sat beside her.

She hugged her tightly and cried out her heart to her.

She knew everything that Ethan didn't know about her.

Delmira knows that she doesn't believe in love, she just wants to live a life of an independent and ambitious woman without falling in love.

"I wanna achieve, fly and I don't want to be caged" she said in a cracky voice.

She recounted women she had seen giving up their dreams just to get married and be with a man. Not forgetting her Mom who left her business to get married to her father.

She doesn't have a boyfriend, that was the reason because they all behave the same way.

"Don't do this, don't eat this…I want this"

Natasha said ridiculously.

Even if I want to marry, it should not be Mr. Six packs with such a character.

"Her eyes are swollen, she had cried herself to stupor. She is in pains…why didn't you tell her of Dad's plans at least she can prepare herself?!"

"I tried to talking to him to cancel the plan I swear Mira but all was to no avail" Ethan defended himself

She fell asleep while crying, waking up to hear faint voices from behind which sounds like that of Ethan and Delmira.

"It's not your fault Ethan, at least you tried convincing him. Upon being his daughter, he didn't even tell me."

"She is against me now, I know she hates me but I fight to make will count before your Dad"

Why does he think that I hate him

"CAR HOOTS" outside the gate…

A Red sports car drove in, it was Andrew.

She stopped hearing the faint voices.

Delmira dashed to the balcony adjacent to the garage.

Natty came out from the room and followed her closely.

"Congratulations Andy"

"Thank you Mira" He said alighting from his car

"I know you're now happy for achieving what you couldn't achieve with me?!"

What the hell is she even saying??!
