Shane had called ahead yesterday, to let me know that the pack had gladly accepted the deal and that they were now all on their way.
I was happier than I had ever been.
I missed Shane so much and he would finally be here soon.
And not a second too early that is.
Dani and the other kids would arrive in 2 days which meant that I would have to tell Dani about her mother.
Whenever I thought of that little girl my heart broke, and my eyes welled up. I had to tell her the worst news in her life, that her mother would never come back. But that as a consolation prize she would come live with me.
Like that would even make a difference.
