Chapter 47 - Chi Training

Kairo embraced her tightly again and at that moment they diverted to their room in the temple. She felt a sweet kiss from her husband. She followed her heart rather than her mind. She kissed his red lips, gently feels her deep emotions and Kairo responded to it. A gentle to torrid kissed they had shared while feels the burning urge inside her. His knavish hands traveled to her back and find their way to get inside her dress. “I’m just asking if what happened earlier? How are Master Zhang's staff and Hander's group?”

"They really are the ones you asked and not me?"

She slowly lifted the comforter to cover their naked bodies. "I know you're fine, my love."

"I'm just kidding." It tilted in front of her. “I thought you were tired and wanted to rest? You have many more questions, my love. Just like before.”

“Tell me a story while I close my eyes, my love. Or if you want, I'll just find a way to find it out.”

“I drove them away before they got to the temple. I disobeyed the destiny that night for you because I was afraid you would disappear from my sight. You even left without even letting anyone know here. Who wouldn't go crazy over what you did? I am a god but I have to be humble and follow my wife's wishes which someone like me shouldn't really do. But like the Hyperion's staff will not give up right away so we will prepare for what they will do next.”

"They really won't stop until they get what they want, my love. Why is it that there are creatures who are greedy for power just for their own sake and no longer think of other creatures who have innocent? If I were the creator, I would end their lives. They will not go through any disciplinary process.”

“You also said that maybe Hyperion just needs someone to talk to him. Why did the wind change, my love?”

"You also said dear that he is cunning and does not listen so there is no reason why we need to talk to him."

"You're right. But he has to face me and the real creator so that he can pay for all his sins.”

“You will take care of that, my love. By the way, how’s our baby? Are they all right?” She remembered their sons with Kairo.

“They are okay, my love. I am protecting them and no one would ever harm them.”

"Good, my love."

They talked a lot but it was late at night so they just rested. Trying to consider what happened to them but they are still there together and no one cares if it is their true love conquered.

THE next morning, she resumed her training with Master Zhang. They are in a part of the temple which is peaceful and she will learn to strengthen her Chi. Chi (or qi) is synonymous with breath in the Chinese Language. In combination with other words, however, chi denotes slightly different concepts. Qi gong, for instance, literally translates to, breath-work, but the scope of qigong goes much deeper into developing the energy that animates the body.

There are many ways to develop chi. In terms of the physical body, chi development can make an ill or weak person more hearty and alive. The concept of chi, however, also extends beyond the physical body, to the subtle energies that activate all human functions, including emotions and thought.

In Taoism, the way chi extends outside of the physical body is understood as the Eight Energy Body Theory. Unbalanced chi can cause emotions to become agitated, distressed, or erratic. Whereas, balanced chi can cause emotions to become more smooth, balanced, and stable. When developing mental chi, one can enhance the clarity of thought. Whether working for long periods, or in distracting environments, focus can be maintained on the task at hand. Spiritual chi makes it more possible for humans to enter higher states of consciousness, which lie at the heart of the religious experience.

“Concentrate. Your mind needs to be free to connect it to the chi of nature and what is around you. Don't let it be swallowed up by whatever negative you inhale around you,” Master Zhang told her.

Like her, it also sits like a meditator. Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique - such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity - to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm, and stable state.

"Can you see the flow of your chi?" Master Zhang asked her.

"Yes, Master Zhang."

“Very good. Just let the chi of nature flow into your being. ”

She sees the green energy coming from nature and it covers her personality. She freely accepted it up to the points of her blood flows as well as in different parts of her chakra. It felt so light and that was one of the things she felt when the chi of nature finally merged with her. She also felt the immortality she had and the magical necklace around her neck shone again.

“It helps a lot with your spiritual power around your neck, Lady Weng. Chi will be the strength of the stone crystal because in conjunction with its ability and power comes from nature and elemental energy such as air, fire, water, earth, and so on. The level you have now is similar to gods like your husband,” Master Zhang continued.

She opened his eyes again then she generated in her palms the energy of water. She rotated it until it became a form of yin and yang. In Ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (/ jɪn/ and; Chinese: yīnyáng, lit. "bright-black", "positive-negative") is a concept of dualism, describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. In Chinese cosmology, the universe creates itself out of primary chaos of material energy, organized into the cycles of Yin and Yang and formed into objects and lives. Yin is the receptive and Yang the active principle, seen in all forms of change and difference such as the annual cycle (winter and summer), the landscape (north-facing shade and south-facing brightness), s****l coupling (female and male), the formation of both men and women as characters and sociopolitical history (disorder and order).

“That’s right, Lady Weng. You have greatly improved our training. You can be a teacher of what you have learned from me, Master Kairo, or whoever has taught you. It’s rare for a mortal like you to have this kind of ability so just be proud and put your feet on the ground. Remember that this ability is not taken lightly by others and should not be boasted of by others. The creator provided it to help the masses.”

Gradually what she had done earlier disappeared from her hands. "Thanks for the reminder, Master Zhang." She stood up. “I just really deserve to pour myself into helping other people. From now on, I will be focus and I will never give up my destiny again.” She caught a glimpse of her husband, who was just around the corner with the others.

“That’s how it is. Trials are just part of life you have to get through, Lady Weng. Especially married life.” Master Zhang smiled at her.

She also smiled because she knew that Master Zhang also knew what had happened to them with her husband Kairo.
