Everyone was preparing for the temple when she and her husband, Kairo, returned home from Shanghai, China. She immediately saw in a corner Hander's group preparing their weapon. She approached them while her husband Kairo was talking to Master Zhang.
"Hander, how's everyone?" she asked.
“It's you, Lady Weng. We are fine. We will prepare for the attack by Hyperion's men,” Hander replied.
“We are sure there are many
innocent creatures will be affected in this area and hopefully, they will stay alive because Hyperion's staff is not merciful,” Thiara said.
“Don't worry about us, Lady Weng. We can do it and protect ourselves,” Jigger replied.
"How was your visit with Master Kairo in Shanghai?" Thiara asked.
"Fine. I just came across a thief and I just taught him a lesson,” she replied.
"Thieves are really rampant especially nowadays and they always target the buyers of things in the marketplace," Thiara explained.
“They are more likely to steal what others have worked for than to work hard. People at this time are not learning anymore,” Kristoff replied.
She noticed arrows not far away and some samurai swords. A bow and arrow is a projectile weapon system used in the art of archery. The bow is a flexible piece of material that shoots aerodynamic projectiles called arrows, which usually consist of a shaft, an arrowhead attached to the front end, with fletchings and a nock at the other. The other one is Chinese samurai swords. Historically, all Chinese swords are classified into two types, Jian and Dao. Jian is a double-edged straight sword while Dao is single-edged and mostly curved from the Song dynasty forward. The Jian has been translated at times as a long sword, and the Dao a saber or a knife. Bronze Jian's appeared during the mid-third century BC and switched to wrought iron and steel during the late Warring States period. Other than specialized weapons like the Divided Dao, Chinese swords are usually 70–110 cm (28–43 in) in length, although longer swords have been found on occasion.
These weapons were already developed at that time and were used to defend themselves against those who wanted to occupy the area. However, others prefer to use self-defense so that they do not get hurt but it will cause people to be hit in different parts of their body.
She slowly made her way to the part of the training ground where many of Master Zhang's staff were busy preparing. She closed her eyes and felt the moment so she could see what she should see. She used the ability of the stone crystal so that she could see the future like Kairo. I beg stone crystal to show me what will happen. Show me even though I know many will perish.
Moments later she saw people shouting for their safety and bravery in war. She heard the collision of swords, those hit by arrows, several people covered in blood with their bodies, and the burning around including the tree where Wendy and her companions lived.
No! She quickly opened her eyes. She was nervous as she was still freshly seeing what was yet to happen. The people in this world should not be affected by Hyperion's greed. I need to do something. I had to stop it before his men could attack. She quickly left where she was as the people behind him were wondered. Jigger secretly followed her without her being aware.
She went to the very entrance of Wudang Temple where that part was already dark but she was just surprised that her husband was there.
“Why are you here?” its tone of voice seemed angry.
"Kairo… You followed me?" She shouldn't be surprised because she knew it could follow her.
It peeked behind him. "Jigger, I'll take care of my wife."
She glanced over and there was the young man Jigger who had followed her. It just nodded then it came back inside again. She turned to her husband again and saw him raised his hand. Make it a bright light around to see the incoming opponents. The light covered the walls of the temple and it seemed like a very bright moon. Kairo lowered his hand again then focused on her again.
"Are you trying to fight Hyperion's staff just to change what will happen a few hours from now?"
"Kairo, they shouldn't be involved in the chaos that we are to blame!"
“But it is still not right for you to change what will happen because it is destined to happen. Who do you think you can change what the creator wants?”
“Does the creator want it or do you want it? Do you think I don't know? You think I’m just deaf to things I can’t hear. Yes, and I know about what you talked about with Master Zhang. Who do you think I am? I'm just a victim of the destinies you made! ” She could no longer restrain herself from saying what she knew. “I don't know why you brought me here and those with you. Who are you really, Kairo Middlestone? ”
Kairo couldn't answer her right away but she still wanted to hear his side because she was already confused.
“I can't answer your question. Go inside and I will take care of them if you don't want anyone to get hurt.” It turned and faced the road. "As I said, go inside and they'll be here in a few moments."
"I will not come in until you tell me the truth, Kairo. It's only now that I feel like I don't even know you very well.”
"Go inside."
She just kept her eyes from tears and then left him and went inside again. She just went straight to their room and there she poured out her resentment but that was only for a moment. She touched her stone crystal then she removes it.
"I'm sorry but I don't want to." She laid the stone crystal on the side table. “I want to go home and live in peace. But if the opportunity did not allow my request, I would have rested forever.” Tears welled up in her eyes again.
Weng didn't waste any time, she took a thick cloak over her head and left the room. She was leaving the temple while everyone else was busy. She didn't want to be a part of their destiny that her husband had been playing with her in the first place. She passed through a secret hallway at the back of the temple. She saw that when the temple wall was built.
She didn't have any difficulty getting out obviously because of what Kairo did but at the bottom, it wasn't anymore. Although she was afraid of being followed by the opponent there her decision was complete.
It was dark in the woods and she could hear a lot of insects chirping but she didn't pay attention to that. The roads she walked were still muddy but in the first part, she heard a crackle.
“What’s that?” She was nervous again and then suddenly grabbed the trunk. She had better hide first and find out what that crackle was. Later she saw the rabbit come out of the lawn. "I thought it was something." She stood up again and continued.
Steep, slippery, and not lightly descends the Wudang mountains. She still doesn't know where her direction is as long as she just follows her feet and senses. Until she misstepped her foot and slipped. She rolled straight down.
"Uggghh!"
She didn't know where else to cling to because she also had nothing to cling to up to the edge of the ravine. No! She was quickly grabbed by the protruding tree and her body was almost hanging on the edge of the shore. She tried to hold both hands on the wood and peeked further down. It was so dark and she felt like she was going to fall so deep.
She tried to climb to the side, she looked for a place to step on, clung to the wood, and forced herself to lift.
"Oh!" she shouted.
The stone she stepped on was removed because the ground was only soft. She was once again clinging to the wood she was holding. She was already struggling with her situation. Maybe it was the right moment I let go. I want to give up and just let heaven decide for my resurrection or allow me to live. I have done enough and suffered in this world. This is enough and too much! Goodbye to all. Goodbye, Kairo!
She slowly stretched out her hands until she finally let go. She quickly fell into the abyss and no longer cared what would happen to her but as she descended her time seemed to slow down. She felt like everything had just stopped and she was just floating in nothingness. Later and suddenly the stone crystal hanging around her neck appeared to her.
She was slightly surprised. “Stone crystal… Why are you doing this? Leave me alone."
"No."
Once again she was surprised when the person familiar to her was behind her. The man is the reason she experienced all that. It hugged him tightly from behind as the stone crystal shone on her chest.
"Why are you hurting me like this, Weng?"
She felt the sadness in Kairo's voice in her and it penetrated her heart.
"Why do you want to leave me and let this be our destiny?"
"Kairo…" She cried again.
“The energy of the creator is in my personality but it is still me. The man you met before. The man you gave meaning to life on earth. The man who loved you so much more than my life. Why do you want to turn your back on me? Is it because I just kept it a secret?”
She sniffed. “Kairo… Why did you bring me to this world just to be with me for so long? Why am I the only one left in the group with you when we see and find Hyperion? Why play the fate of us all if you already knew in the first place that you would be hurt? I don’t understand you and even if you say that the energy of the creator is in your being, why would you torture your creations? Isn't it enough to just learn and still have to lose everything?”
“Weng… Everything is in the line of your destiny but there is a strong reason why it has to happen. This is the part of the balance in the human world and the spiritual. It has to go through a process of trial and resurrection. I want to be with you even in this way because I don't see myself with you in the future. You know that thing. Like I told you before, seven portals are the way to protect you from Hyperion. As long as I don't have the stone crystal and I'm useless. My inability to reorganize the world was also the reason for my neglect.”
She burst into tears again and in those tears, she also felt Kairo's love in her heart again. She knew she had been selfish at the time and had no idea what the consequences would be when she disappeared forever.
“You are the only way for me to fix everything. With your help, I became strong and steadfast in any battle. You also shouldn’t ask me about things that should be fixed. Weng, this is the process of the gods in the spiritual world and you have to be strong.”
“Kairo…” She moved to face it and embraced him. "I'm sorry, my love!"
