Chapter 19 - Her courage to save Kairo

"You survived today, but in my next attack, you will not be able to escape!" Hyperion's strong statement.

"You’re mouth was fast rather than your moves!" Kairo replied.

Hyperion just smiled and then raised his sword again. Once again, it released a powerful force from there. It absorbs the energy of the surroundings, which causes the intense tension around it to re-emerge. Kairo was alert and prepared himself.

“You will regret your rejection that I offered, Kairo. And I will finish the woman you seem to love!” He demonly smiles.

"What ?!" Kairo was alert.

"I will put your woman on my list to deal with doom first!"

From the power of its sword, a flash of lightning came out towards the maiden Weng.

“No!!” Kairo slightly raised his hand and then pointed in Weng’s direction. It unleashes the force to prevent the maiden from perishing.

Meanwhile, in Weng's direction, she could see the big lightning coming towards her. Her grip on the magic carpet tightened again. "Carpet, watch out!"

The carpet has its mind that moves quickly and moves away from Kairo and Hyperion's direction. But lightning still followed them. Whoever hits it will not survive.

“Oh! Carpet, the lightning will not let up us! Ay! ” She screams every time the lightning strikes while they are trying to avoid its terrifying current.

Weng and Carpet continued to avoid the strikes of lightning, but herself-fear grew. Kairo! Save me! But they are still facing a fierce battle today, and a great sand storm meets upcoming. "Stupid!" Hyperion growled at him. “All souls pass by me before Brith gives them life for the rebirth process. So right now, I will end her life with you!! ” Hyperion strangled Kairo again.

She shouted. "Kairo!" Then she saw Hyperion turn to her side and then put his hand on her. It released energy from its hand towards her, but she did not budge, and she would collide with its force as the stone crystal wanted.

“Weng!”

She was stunned. She did not think that Kairo could enter her mind to talk. “Kairo...”

“Weng ..moves away...” he said.

“No, Kairo! I will not leave you in that condition. I will save you no matter life, even if it’s the end of my life.”

“I'm glad to meet you. I'm glad to be with you.”

“Is it a sign, Kairo? Are you saying goodbye? Kairo, please don't— I can't!” Her tears seem to fall from her eyes side.

“Weng, I don't want to hurt you. Forgive me for what I will do.”

“Kairo...if you disappear from this world, I will come wherever you go. Kairo, I beg you, I will save you.”

In a flash moment, intense energy came out of Weng's stone crystal towards Hyperion, and he was throwing away from the collided power. She jumped in Kairo’s direction, which was falling out from Hyperion’s gripped.

“No!!” Hyperion shouted again and flew away until a tunnel opened and swallowed him there.

Weng, on the other hand, quickly joined Kairo, who gradually fell. It did not use his ability because he was drained from Hyperion’s fraudulent energy.

“Kairo! I'm already there!”

The magical carpet flew faster towards them as if they are in danger.

“Kairo!” She embraces him tightly.

“Weng ...” He smiled. Soon the light of its golden eyes faded. Then gradually turn a blind eye.

“Kairo ...” Weng cried.

Then the magic carpet caught them again, and gradually the time slowed down. The surroundings are also slowly returning to stock, including the atmosphere that has lost the horrible weather as the two creatures embraced each other while lying on the magical carpet.

“Never leave me, Kairo,” she said while sobbing. She felt a young man's hand embrace her back.

“I won't leave you. Just stay with me.” It woke up again.

She smiled. She glanced at Kairo again as she saw its blind eye turns normal chestnut eyes. She touches his face. “Kairo... I don't know what I will do when you are gone forever. I feel like I have a useless time so please stay with me forever. I thought if that happened, I would not be able to defeat Hyperion either because I did not have strong and powerful skills, knowledge, and ability just like you.”

He wiped away her tears. “Don't worry; I will train you one of these days. You will probably need to learn the elemental powers that stone crystal has. I think a crystal stone piece can be equal in that necklace even if Mind and Stone's soul are together. The part in Hyperion’s piece that sleeps its energy. Thiara stood up then pulled Hander to sit down. "Sit down!" she forcibly commands.

The young man did nothing but sit next to the woman. Thiara also sat down and took first aid medicines to apply to Hander's sore wound.

"They've all been treated, and could you please not complain." Then she placed the herb on the young man's wounds. "It hurts, so just endure the pain."

"I'm not afraid, so it's okay for you to press more —aaahhhh !!" He screamed then could longer draw the face of pain.

"Oh? I thought you weren't afraid. I warned you."

"s**t! You didn't say you were going to put it in an instant!" he complained.

"I said it is painful, didn't I? Hey, I don’t understand of most brave men, when it comes to the treatment of their wounds, they are getting into a coward." She keeps on putting on the medicine. "Be patient, and it's only a matter of time. It won't be too painful later."

Hander was silent while Thiara was being treated his wounds. A few moments later, it’s done.

"There, it's okay." Thiara has already arranged the medications. "You can stand up."

"I do not want."

Thiara stopped then looked at Hander. "What did you say?"

"I said I don't want to." The young man turned to Thiara. "I feel better sitting here. The view is beautiful."

"View?" The girl looked around. "What view are you talking about? I can only see rocks and dust."

Thiara stood up again with the herbs and walked through inside the big house while Hander just followed the woman’s glimpse. It must not be the right time for them, but the creator has always plan to push the time to meet their paths. Just like as Kairo and Weng stumble their fate in an instant.
