~Easton~     I felt like I was dying, but I knew that wasn’t the case.  Fire was pulsing through my veins, and I knew that we were too late.  We didn’t save Bren.     Screams kept escaping from me.  Painful screams, grieving screams, horrified screams.  I screamed until my throat was sore and then I screamed some more.  My jaw was locked open in a never ending silent scream as hot tears streamed down my face.     How do you go on knowing your mate isn’t there with you anymore?  The one that gave you a reason to live?  To fight?     I don’t know how my father accomplished anything after experiencing this pain, experiencing losing half of his soul.  Fur kept appearing and disappearing from my skin as Gabriel tried to take control.  He wanted revenge.  He wanted blood.  He lost not one, b
