The next morning, Kaylee watched Jules drain his coffee like he was inhaling it. “Long night?” she asked sullenly.
He nodded. “Stayed late after the meeting.”
“Why?”
“To discuss an investment opportunity with a buddy of mine. I need more coffee. Be right back.”
