Secret Bunker

"I hope we don't have to walk for hours like before" I grumbled

"Nahh" he said, taking my hand. He waved his free hand over a surface of water and what looked like a portal opened and he pulled me through.

"Woow how did you do that" I asked

"You will learn soon" he answered

"where is this place" I asked

"My favourite place in the Ziyera" he said his face beaming with smile " only me and a few others knows about it now you do too."

"Ahhh… what great honour" I said smiling. I felt a very fatherly vibe from this dude. "why though?" I asked

"Because, I don't stay in my main house I just stay here to avoid noise and pesky people so if you need me and I'm not in my major house I'm here and now you are my responsibility and blah blah blah" he said waving his hands

"You know," he turned around to look at me "after the war I was free for a long time and so I took the initiative to create a bunker so as to escape from the eyes of the public but now you came along so I have to show you this wonderful secret place" then he continued walking.

"it is really beautiful" It was an open island with a lake of light blue colour and beautifully coloured fishes swimming in it, the sand was golden. Behind it was a forest with tall trees, on the left side was a huge rock and, on the right, a big cottage which I'm guessing is his house

"Is that the bunker" I asked

"Yes, my secret bunker" he replied" wanna come in for tea and snacks?"

"Sure" I said remembering that I haven't had anything to eat since I was kidn*pped!

Well they must have fed me some stuff cause I don't feel like I haven't eaten at all. It's strange.

He led me in and the place was wooow. It was a large room with blue paint and beautifully decorated shelves, a huge aquarium, lots of blue glowing lights, blue cupboards, a huge couch, a wooden table and a balcony that gives a good view of the forest. In the balcony was a tea table and three chairs.

I sat on one of the chairs and gazed at the beautiful forest with different coloured butterflies flying everywhere.

After a few minutes of me admiring the scenery, He returns "Here" he said placing a cup with coloured liquid and a plate with cookies

"What's that" I said snapping out of my daze and pointing at the cup

"Tea and cookies" he said, stating the obvious.

As I carried the cookies to put in my mouth I paused. What if it's poisoned, I mean if he wanted to do anything to me, he could right? Ugh I don't trust people.

"Don't worry it's not poisoned" he said, smiling.

I rolled my eyes and took a bite of the cookie and the taste exploded in my taste buds.

"Mmm… very yummy" I commended

"Thanks, it's my mum's recipe" he said smiling

"That reminds me I still don't know your name" I said

"Really? I didn't introduce myself?" he said laughing lightly "well I'm Zachary"

"Nice name I'm Abigail"

"I know" he said

"Can I…. can I call you Zach" I asked looking up at him.

"Sure" he said munching on his cookie

"Hey Zach" I said

"Hmm" he looks at me

"How old are you?"

"How old do you think I am" he asked sipping his tea

"Hmmm probably thirty-three?" I guessed

He burst out laughing almost spilling the tea

"What's so funny" I asked

"I'm nowhere near thirty-three" he said

"Then how old are you then two hundred" I asked sarcasm dripping from my words

"Hmm almost close" he said

"What!!" I almost screamed

"I'm two hundred and eighty" he said

"No way you're kidding" I said with surprise

"Why would I joke" he asked

"Woow granny" I said laughing

He rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"What about you how old are you"

"I'm nineteen" I stated

"Quick question, why do you all have strange hair colours?" I don't know if this sounded rude, but I just had to ask as I was curious

"Why do you have a strange hair colour" he asked back

"What do you mean?" I said, reaching out to grab locks of my hair. "My hair is perfectly…"

"Ahhh" I exclaimed my hair was blue, really dark blue "what did you guys do with my beautiful… gorgeous red hair"

"Nothing, the colour and length just changed. I guess it's the perks of being a guardian and staying in the Ziyera" he stated "you should start going it's getting pretty late"

I looked up and the sky had already darkened significantly "yeah"

"I'll show you the way back" he stood up

As we got outside I couldn't help but marvel again "How did you manage to hide this amazing place from others"

"I put it under a protective dome that only allows me and any other person who I want to see it, see it" he answered

"So… you let me see it" I said

"Yeah you, and a few others and you are not allowed to bring anyone here without permission which I wouldn't grant" he said "and only come with a valid reason don't disturb my rest" he added

I rolled my eyes not wanting to reply him

After escorting me back to my cottage he said "don't wander about and go straight to bed"

"Yes grand pa" I repeated

"Hey I'm not that old" he said, faking annoyance. I giggled

I obviously won't stay in bed I've been doing that quite a lot "Bye" I told him with a smile

"See you tomorrow, and just so you know, that’s when we are starting the real deal" he said

"Yes Master" I said slightly bowing

Rolling his eyes he said "just go inside"

I entered inside. After making sure he wasn't there, I opened the door and went out to wander about.

Even though it was already night time the Ziyera was still brightened by millions of colourful small lights just flying about and also the moon was so freaking full and shiny so I could pretty much see my way. I ventured into the forest and entered deeper. I saw a place where light shone brightly and went there.

There, I saw what looked like the type of portal that Zach made. I put my hand and it went through so I entered it.

Entering the place through the portal I felt a strange sensation "hm strange"

The place was nothing like I had ever seen, It was just an open field with tall trees surrounding the whole place. It had millions of shining golden dots with what seemed like golden fire all around. I looked around the heaven-like place but no one was there.

"What are you doing here" someone said behind me

"Huh" I turned around

My eyes widened at what I saw.
