I stood there wondering the possibility with my head slightly bent.

But the rock must be a huge one at that, l reasoned but this must be a human, it's kind of soft. Wait a man!! I screamed in my head he smell of strong cologne. I foolishly reasoned.

I slowly raised my head only to meet a set of hazel icy cold eyes staring down at me. He has a very beautiful eyes and handsome face. But he's face is very cold and hard.

His eyes held this longing of comfort and love. Is he devoid of love. But he has money and everything he could wish for.

If you're done drooling, move aside l have things to tend to. His harsh voice brought me out of my reverie.

I close my eyes in shame. I was so embarrassed now. I quickly moved aside for him. He continued his walk towards his room.

Ah, l must be very stupid. I have made a fool of myself, l said to myself. As l beat myself. I thought you said you are not drooling for him, my inner mind spat out. I face-palm my face.

Hahaha, I heard my bestie laughing so hard.

I told yah. She said annoyingly. The chemistry is there. I can't you feel it, and soon , you two would realize it, while everyone would witness it, she dreamily. I quickly hit her with my hands. And moved back. This girl will be the death of me, l said in mind.

I walked quietly to my room, as I held the door knob to my the door room. I heard someone s sign. I turned to know where it came from. I saw Linda standing behind me. I turned and face her fully, to understand why she was signing.

I have never offended her before or quarreled with her ever. But I'm sure the sound came from her.

You think you can seduce him, not when I'm still living, she spat venomously. I looked at her as if she had grow two big horns. Because I'm confused. She thought that I'm interested in him, l scuffed as l gradually open the door to my room, actually I share this room with my bestie. I went inside without saying a word to her, l don't have anytime to save for her.

I don't have time for mere talks this morning, all that was in my mind now, is to rest a little before lunch time.

Richard 's POV

I was so tired from work. Some idiots tried to hack one of baby companies. They choose the wrong person to deal with. I must get to the root of this.

They thought they would dare me and be free, never. I'm sure of that. And I would make sure that, that person never saw the light of the day, l promise myself. I'm the worst person to play with.

Thank goodness that l got the signal on time and stopped it. I would have lost billions of dollars. I'm so tired now, l really need rest. My chronic headache had just returned. I desperately needed rest, but I'm sure it's a dream that would never happen.

I'm not in my best mood. I have sent my men to get me infos, and l need it urgently. I want to deal with the idiots already for messing with one of my fast growing baby companies.

My blood is boiling. I want blood to flow.

I just l was entering the house, when l saw her, coming towards me. She was looking but not seeing. Because if she wasn't, she would not have walked directly towards me. They all feared me and I'm sure that the females are also dreaming of me but afraid to get close to me.

I before l knew it, she bumped into me. She stayed that for a moment which I loved and wanted more. Her rosy scent fill my senses and I felt a little calm and my headache disappeared miraculously.

The way she looks at me, melts my heart and I was lost in it for a moment. Her eyes speaks of warmth and peace, as if saying that all will be well, no one had told me that or had ever encouraged me to do better.

My eyes trailed to her pink lips which was full and was begging to be kissed. All l wanted now was to kiss her until she can't breathe and hold her to feel her warmth but my ego got the best of me. If you're done drooling over me, you can move aside. I have things to tend to, I said to her harshly.

My words came out cold and icy and she became embarrassed and quietly moved aside as l resumed my walking to my room. I didn't mean to hurt her but I'm not in the best of my mood. Maybe we would talk about that later, since she's responsible for me as long as l stayed in this mansion.

I heard someone laughed at her and mumbled something. I guess she might be her friend or something but l don't care at least for now. I must found the idiots that tries to mess with me. If not for how good I am in tech, they would have succeeded. They must be punished l said with finality as l entered my room.

I sat down on my King-size bed, checking my emails as l heard a knock on my door. Come in, l said coldly not given a damn who the person might be.

I continued checking my emails, desperately waiting for an update on the idiots that mess with my company.

Son, you're back? My mom's gentle voice trailed. Should I answer or remain silent, l decided to do the later.

I decided to check if you were back and luckily you are, please lunch is in two hours, try to attend and don't be late. She said warmly. I just nodded and continued what I was doing. I would have walked her out if it was someone else.

As l wanted to drop my phone, an email pop up and l decided to ignore it but what l saw made stopped.
