Monday morning arrived with an unusual sense of anticipation.

“I hope everyone is ready,” she said with a smile. “Remember, confidence is just as important as preparation.”
Jason whispered to Emily, “Excellent. I have one of those.”
“You have confidence,” Emily replied.

“Nervous?”
“A little.”
He gave an encouraging smile.
“We’ve practiced.”
“We have.”
