Chapter 103 - The Shared Recommendation

572 Words

The problem with finding a new favorite place— was that eventually— you wanted to share it with someone else. Thursday morning arrived with cool autumn air drifting through the open classroom windows. The first lesson had barely begun when Mrs. Harper placed a small stack of colorful flyers on her desk. "I have another announcement from the library." Jason immediately looked interested. "Please involve snacks." Mrs. Harper smiled. "It involves readers." "I'll allow it." A few students laughed. "The librarian has decided to create a student recommendation board," Mrs. Harper continued. "Anyone participating in the reading challenge may write a short recommendation for a favorite book. Those recommendations will be displayed in the library." Emily smiled. "That's a nice idea."
