ZARA'S POV The last thing I remember was seeing my parents step forward before the hallway became dark. When the lights came on again, they were gone like they had never been there. Even the air smelt normal, like no new scent had been caught. Kai, on the other hand, had no remembrance of my parents being around. I hugged Kai for a short moment before stepping into my room, just after he had escorted me to my dorm. "What's wrong?" Mira asked. Apparently, my mood has turned into a frowning gaze. "You just seemed to be frowning, hence the question." She said. I contemplated on the kind of response to give her. "Nah... I'm good." I responded. She just shrugged it off and continued typing things in her phone. I got rid of the clothes I had on as I prepared to lay on my bed and rest.
