Kai's POV
The whole situation was a mess. I was having a hard time trying to put one and two together, but it wasn't easy from where I was standing. In a soan of two to three minutes, Mira and Zara had said two things that didn't pass my notice.
"Who then was controlling the academy systems?" I asked, staring into Mira's eyes.
"That's what I have to figure out." She responded carefully.
"So.... You're not even sure." I stated, shaking my head furiously.
I didn't want to say anything, neither did I want to be involved in whatever was going on. Clearly, everyone needed a break from these whole assumptions or whatever was going on here.
"We should return to class." I said.
