Kai's POV
I expected today to be good, especially after sleeping all night with Zara. But as always, things don't always go the way we want it to. I woke up quite pissed because my device kept going on and off.
Why was Dr. Voss looking for me? I had to quickly slip out of my room to go and see her.
"Took you long enough to appear when I called." She said.
"Sorry ma'am." I responded.
"I don't suppose that you were sleeping." She said.
I wasn't going to let out what I was actually doing to her. Not even anyone else.
"I couldn't sleep." I lied swiftly.
"Stop with the bullshit!" She yelled angrily.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
"How is Zara? I've not heard any updates about her." She said.
"She's fine last I checked." I responded.
She turned her seat to face the glass wall opposite
