ANDY I made it through the week with my online classes. Grant had taken over training me, and I had no other issues with Thomas. In fact, he was keeping quite the distance while the bruise on his cheek healed. But I was still plagued by my need to make a decision. I felt that the longer I stayed here, the harder it would be to leave it all behind. I had made friends here. Mia and Mandy blew up my phone all day long with texts. Grant and I had met up with them for coffee after the Thomas debacle and I found it comforting to be able to talk with them and laugh about it. And Michael. Thinking about Michael made my heart hurt. I wanted so much to be near him, to be with him. But he held me at arm’s length, believing that it was for the best. But it wasn’t. It was just making things harder because my desire to be with him was growing. Friday night I laid in bed thinking about all of this. Thinking about him, and all the things my body craved for him to do. I closed my eyes and slid my hand under the covers and began to touch myself. Rubbing in just the right spot and thinking about Michael, his body covering mine. Imagining my fingers were his. I couldn’t finish it myself. My body wasn’t going to let me. It wasn’t my fingers I wanted there. It was his. I didn’t want some toy, or artificial device. I wanted him. I huffed and threw back the blankets, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. I was all hot and primed on top of everything else. I pulled on my sweatpants and hoodie and slipped my feet into a pair of slippers. I may not be able to walk around outside, but I could stroll through the house. It was late. No one would be awake. “Going somewhere?” I jumped at the sound of Grant’s voice, but sighed with relief, realizing it was him. “Just for a walk around the house.” I said. “Don’t worry, I’m not going outside.” “I should still stay with you.” Grant stood from where he was parked on the floor outside my door. “You never know what can happen.” “Seriously? You’ve been watching me for over twenty-four hours. It’s late. Everyone else is asleep. I’m staying inside. Nothing’s going to happen.” I tried to reason. Grant gave me a skeptical look. I sighed. “If I’m not back in an hour, you can come find me.” “Half an hour.” “Forty-five minutes.” “Deal.” Grant nodded. “Go ahead.” Once free of Grant and my sudden constant supervision, I wandered the dimly lit halls, not sure what I was looking for or where I was going. After a little while, I found my way back to the abandoned office. I didn’t know why I was drawn there, but there was something oddly familiar about the space that calmed me. It was as if a part of me knew this place from a previous life. As soon as I opened the door, the smell of woods and pine filled my senses. Michael. He was sitting in a chair looking out the window to the moonlit grounds, the light illuminating his blue eyes. I hadn’t noticed it before, but the view of the forest and mountains was perfect from this room. It even included the lake, blue even at night. I approached his chair from behind and slowly slid my arms around Michael’s shoulders. “What are you doing here?” He asked. “I couldn’t sleep.” Michael slowly turned the chair to face me and pulled me onto his lap, hugging me close. “Me either.” He whispered. “You stayed.” “So far.” Michael nuzzled into my neck, inhaling deeply. I wrapped my arms around him, stroking the back of his head. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “Tell me.” “So much.” Michael sighed. “It’s getting to the point where I don’t know which way is up.” “I know the feeling.” I pressed my cheek against his head. “Anything I can do to help?” “You being here is enough.” Michael mumbled, but his lips were already on my skin, his hands sliding under my shirt. “Michael,” I whispered, my head falling back to give him more space. “I need you.” He said quietly. “I want you.” He picked his head up and his blue eyes locked into mine. “You are my mate, and I can’t push you away anymore.” “I haven’t made a decision yet.” “I know.” Michael pushed my hair back from my face. “I know, and I don’t want to pressure you, but I need my mate. I need you, and I think you need me, too.” I cupped Michael’s face in my hands. “Mate,” Faolan said in my head. “Our mate.” I leaned in and kissed him. Then kissed him again, deeper. His response was more than welcome, as was the tightening of his hands on my body. I stood and straddled Michael’s lap, pressing my body against him. I sat back far enough to unbutton his shirt and push it open, trying to get it off of him. He gripped me tightly to him and stood, moving to the desk. He shrugged out of his shirt and pulled my sweatshirt and tee shirt over my head, dropping them to the floor. I wiggled out of my sweatpants, watching Michael pull open his pants. I grabbed him by the hips and pulled him to me, our lips meeting again. Michael’s tongue slid across my lips and into my mouth. I loved the way he tasted, the way his tongue felt in my mouth and on my body. His hand slid between my thighs, his thumb rubbing my c**t in slow circles. His fingers sliding inside of me. I gasped as his touch. At the urgent need that coursed through each of our bodies. I could feel my core begin to tighten. “I want you inside me.” I gasped. “I want you now.” Michael didn’t say anything, but he stepped closer between my legs, rubbing himself against me. “Lay back.” He whispered, giving me a gentle push. He reached down and slid my arms over my head, allowing his fingers to run a trail down my arms, over my breasts and down to my hips, which he gripped tightly. I was more than ready for him, and Michael slid easily inside of me, filling me with his length. I moaned at the feeling of him inside of me, and sat up, wrapping my hand around the back of his neck, and my legs around his waist, pulling him even further into me. Michael groaned against my mouth as he began to move inside of me. “Oh, God,” my head dropped back, arching my back, and pressing my breasts against his chest. Michael’s hand tangled in my hair, pulling with a gentle roughness, making the breath catch in my chest. “Oh, God, Michael.” His mouth returned to space between my neck and shoulder, nipping at me, our breath coming in ragged gasps. His movements became faster, harder, deeper. The tension in my core was unbelievable. I could feel Michael’s nips becoming sharper against my skin. I grabbed his head and forced his face up to kiss me, our tongues tangling again. The explosion of my orgasm ripped through my body in ripples of pleasure. My yell of ecstasy was muffled only by Michael’s mouth on my own. A few thrusts more and Michael pulled out, groaning as he came against my stomach. His head pressed against mine as our breathing calmed. I grabbed his head again, kissing him, our bodies pressing together. Once was not enough for me. I wanted more. “Andy,” Grant’s voice sounded from the other side of the door. “Andy, I know you’re in there. Your time is up.” “It’s okay,” Michael called back, his voice gruff. “She’s with me. I’ve got it covered.” “You sure do,” I muttered, looking down at the mess on my stomach. “I’m on duty tonight. I need to make sure she gets back to her room.” Grant said. “I’ll take care of it.” Michael replied as I slid to the ground in front of him. “You know what? Why don’t,” he cleared his throat as I slid my tongue along his length. He grabbed my chin roughly to stop me so he could speak. “Why don’t you go and get some sleep. I’ll take over from here.” “You sure?” Grant asked. “Yes, Grant, I’m sure!” Michael growled, his eyes burning into mine. “Okay, got it.” Grant grumbled. We could hear his footsteps retreating. Michael looked down at me and gave me a playful growl. “That was not nice.” He grinned. “Yes, it was.” I smiled back. He pulled me to my feet before I could give him any more trouble. “I should get you to bed.” He gave a chuckle when I gave him a grin. “You know what I mean.”
