Anna slammed the door, her heart shattered into a million pieces. She couldn't believe her mom's harsh words. "How could you, Mom?" Anna sobbed, her body shaking with anguish. "You're supposed to support me, not tear me down." Mrs. Susan's words still echoed in her mind: " Anna's tears fell like rain, mixing with frustration and hurt. She paced her room, trying to calm the storm within. Why did her mom always have to criticize her? Why couldn't she see the good in her? Anna stopped pacing, determination rising. She wouldn't let her mom's toxic words define her. She grabbed her journal, pouring out her emotions. As she wrote, her tears slowed. Her thoughts clarified. Anna realized she needed a plan. To take control of her life. To show her mom she was capable. And to protect Jack from their mom's neglect. Anna's resolve hardened. She would start making changes tomorrow. The decision brought a sense of calm. Anna closed her journal, a newfound determination burning within. Meanwhile, Mrs. Susan sat in the living room, tears streaming down her face. She felt lost, unsure how to reconnect with her children. Regret and guilt consumed her. She knew she'd failed Anna and Jack. But she didn't know how to make it right. As night fell, Anna's determination remained. She'd take control of her life. Protect Jack. Prove to her mom she was capable. Anna's resolve hardened. In her room, she began planning. Researching. And Anna, unaware of the treacherous game about to unfold, slept peacefully, her fate hanging precariously in the balance.
