Shady Intentions

He made a point of keeping his back to her. He didn’t want to alert her suspicions by staring too much. He also didn’t want her to realise that he had been following her for much of the day and so was reluctant for her to look upon his face too long, less recognition set in. When she had approached him, he was certain she was coming to confront him for stalking her and was actually impressed that she had been able to pick up on his stealth, but no, she was as sweetly naive as he had assumed. She had momentarily stunned him into silence when she politely asked for directions, looking around sweetly, lowering her eyes respectfully and with a slight blush which drove him crazy. He could smell her well enough to be sure she was still following him, so there really was no need to look back, but it was still difficult to resist the temptation to gaze upon her beauty some more. A muse of colour amongst the drab and drear, like a precious gem shining brilliantly amongst pebbles. He knew he was taking a big risk with this plan. He was here on a mission and he knew his master wouldn’t take kindly to hearing how he had shirked his duties to chase some skirt. And he knew his master would know. His master always knew. But as a well-travelled man he knew that beauty such as hers was a rare find indeed. The kind of beauty that would turn even the most disciplined eyes upon her and melt even the most resisting of hearts. He knew he had to have her the moment he laid eyes on her, struggling pathetically in the snow with that delicious look of helplessness on her angelic face. The drive was so powerful that he considered for a moment that perhaps she was his mate… but his wolf was silent around her and so he knew his desire came from his pants rather than his heart and soul. But that mattered little to him, you didn’t need to be ‘fated’ to be able to appreciate this little gem. All you needed were eyes and a shred of testosterone. So, master be damned. Although he knew he couldn’t throw all caution to the wind, he had to execute his plan perfectly and lure her to the ideal place where he could devour her slowly, uninterrupted. He was going to suffer prolonged punishment for this, so he planned on taking his time. Just a little further and she would be completely at his mercy. The corners of his mouth twitched in a momentary smirk full of malice. They were close.
