We get to the Apple Store and he looks at me. “I will get you a new phone and add it to my plan. A MacBook and anything else you need or want.” We get out and go inside.

“Welcome, how can I help you?” A girl asks eying him.

“You can start by addressing her not me. She is shopping today.” He tells her. She looks at me.

“Sorry miss how can I help you?”

“I need a MacBook and the iPhone 15 pro in rose gold.” I tell her. She turns and walks away from us through a door. She comes back out a few minutes later carrying boxes for a phone and a computer.

“Let’s head to the counter and I will get you set up and going.” She says as she walks towards us. We follow her to the counter. “Do you have an account with us.”

“Her things will be going onto my account.” He tells her.

“Yes sir.” She says as she starts typing. She opens the phone and types some information from it into the computer. Then does the same with the computer. “What’s the main purpose for the computer?”

“I will be taking classes on it.” I tell her.

“What are you studying?”

“Finishing up my last year of high school. Then I want to major in art and minor in history.” I feel his hand on the small of my back and glance back at him. I see him looking out into the mall. I look in the same direction and see my dad. “Giuro che quest'uomo ha un desiderio di morte.” He says under his breath as my dad walks into the store.

“I want my daughter back.” He says.

“I am staying with Leo.” I say to him. He looks at me. Then slaps me across my face.

“Mio dio.” The girl says looking at us.

“I was talking to h…” my dad starts to say before Leo grabs him by the throat.

“Fottuto idiota come osi toccarla.” Leo yells in my dad’s face right before my step mom comes up to us.

“Make him let your father go.” She tells me. I look at her and laugh. “The contract we have with you states you can not kill either of us so long as you have her.” She says to him. He looks at her and drops my dad.

“Get him and get out of my sight. Se rivedo uno di voi prima del matrimonio la tengo e uccido quella che vedo.”

“I understand.” My step mom says helping my dad stand up. “Come on let’s go before he changes his mind.” She says pulling dad towards the entrance.

“Ce n'est pas fini, je te ramènerai avec moi.” My dad says to me. I roll my eyes at him. “You have no respect.” He says before turning and walking out.
