I am so scared Leo is going to slap me. When he pulls me into a hug I start crying. He pulls back from me. “I just want to know who did this so they can be dealt with.”

“It was a few days ago. Before you took me. So I wasn’t yours then.” I say to him. I don’t want to get Beth or my dad in trouble. “What did those guys want with me?” I ask trying to change the topic.

“Your dad sent them to get you.” He says watching my face . I am shocked my dad sent men after me. But I was his meal ticket after all.

“Did they say why?”

“Not really. Just that he told them you had been taken.”

“Where are they, can I talk to them?”

“One of them is on the way to our house. I will take you to talk to him when we get home.” He says to me. “Have you finished her measurements?” He asks his sister. She nods her head. “Let’s go get some food.” He says walking out in front of me.

“Okay.” I say following him. We get to the food court and he looks at me. “Pizza?”

“Pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms good?” He asks, I nod my head. “Go find us a table and I will be there when pizza is ready. Coke or sprite?”

“Sprite can I wait for my drink before I sit?” He nods his head. I stand next to him as he orders the food and drinks. He hands me mine and I walk over to an empty table.” As I sit there I pull out my phone and open up a game. I am sitting there playing when someone comes up beside me. I look up and see Leo. I put my phone away and scoot over. He slides in next to me. We start eating. For every peace I eat he eats two. We get to the last piece i motion for him to have it. He eats it and we leave. We get home and he directs me to the basement. I see cells and look at him.

“Got to have some place to keep people.” He says leading me to the back. “Here we are.”

I look inside the cell and see the guy. “You look familiar.” I say to him. He looks up at me. “Why did my dad send you after me?”

“He told us you had been taken, and that you needed returned to them. That’s all I know, I swear.” I turn and walk back to Leo.

“If he truly doesn’t know more let him go.” I say to him, before turning and looking at the guy again. “Give my father a message will you. Tell him I am staying with Leo. So not to send anyone else after me.” I turn and walk out of the cell and back up the stairs.
