Chapter Two ~ Honor Your Spouse

It’s the first week of February as sunshine rises again for the snow to melt only small amount of time and snow will fall on the ground again. I walk back into the house from my meditation in the forest as Seika came to take my hand and walked me upstairs to the bathroom.

“Welcome home, Vi. Please come upstairs.” Seika said.

It was just all of us women in at home. I was not sure of going on, but there is got to be something. The bathtub is full of foaming bubble on top and steaming hot water.

“What is going on here?” I asked curiously.

“It’s traditional for ghoul women to take a hot bath, shave certain parts of your body, wash your hair, face, and body, and relax.” Mother said as she sets up a wooden tray of razors and special items next to me.

“Where is Dragon?” I asked my mother.

“He’s spending time with the guys. Don’t worry too much. He’s in good hands with them. You are in good hands with us.” Mother smiled with joy.

“Wait a minute. The bathtub and trey of razors are for me?” I asked.

“Yes, sweetheart. Did you know that you have something very important coming to you tonight?” Mother asked.

“I’m happy to know that there is something good coming tonight.” I spoke.

“You’ll find out beginning of supper. Now, lets get you prepared and fresh up. We will leave you alone. They are clean towels and clothing for you, sugar. Before you come downstairs, please don’t forget your cloak and necklace.” Mother said.

“Thank you.” I said as everyone stepped out of the bathroom. I removed my clothes off and tossed them in a pile. I burned the sage and lit the candles. I dipped my feet in the water as the heat is slowly burning away the soreness on my heels and ankles. I moved down into the tub as I laid back and enjoy the relaxation. After allowing my body to relax, I grabbed the razor and prepped it. First, I shaved my armpits, second is my legs, and third is my crotch. I swapped the razor to the buzzer to remove the bushy area before I swap back to the razor to shave the missing parts of the areas. I placed my razor and buzzer back on the tray, drained the tub, and reversed to shower. I washed my hair and face and rinsed my whole body. I shut off the water, stepped out of the shower carefully, and dried my body before I wrapped my hair with a towel. After I allowed my body to fully dry, I rubbed my legs with lotion. I put my clothes on and walked out of the bathroom. I dropped my dirty clothes into the basket and brushed my hair as I heard a knock on the door.

“Are you ready to come join us?” Seika asked.

“Yes, I will be out in a minute.” I answered.

“The guests and guys will be here soon. We have a special seat for you.” Seika said.

“Thank you.” I said as put on my necklace and walked downstairs.

The moment of walking into the dinning room of us female ghouls. Moira hugged me as she walked me to the main chair. Everyone gave smiley expressions when I sat down next to my mother.

“So, what’s new tonight?” I asked everyone.

“Well.” Seika tried to answer as Moira stopped her from trying to spoil the surprise.

“Don’t say anything until Dragon and everyone arrives here.” Moira said to Seika.

“Are you nervous?” Mother asked me as she held my hand.

“I don’t know if I should feel nervous or happy about something.” I said as I massaged my fingers.

“Relax, sweetheart. You’ll be fine.” Sexy Bae said.

Few minutes later, we heard the doors opened. The two leaders of our groups showed up first with side dishes, flowers, extra bottles of blood wine, and gifts. As our fellow leaders seated in their chairs, brother Ezra and Jiggalo were holding the items with Dragon behind them in his special dark navy-blue cloak with Aogiri Tree symbol on the back same as mine and his Celtic cross necklace. The rest of the male ghouls came back in the house last to be seat including Hercules and Seidou. I stood up from my chair and bowed to our guests and people in our household.

“It’s time.” Mother smiled as everyone circled around me. Moira and Seika stood behind me to watch. Ezra and Jiggalo opened a walkway for Dragon to come into the circle as he looked me in the ways with a cheerful smile in him.

“Good evening honey, I thank you for saving my life. I thank you for being here for me. I thank you for letting me save you from fouled situations you were in two years ago. I thank you for getting help through recovery. I thank you for fighting my fears away. We’ve been life partners for two years. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” Dragon bowed to me.

“I thank you for saving me. I thank you for pulling me out of the darkness. I thank you for helping me through everything. I thank you for fighting for me to be happy again. I thank you for letting me fight with you at the war. I thank you for saving me from danger. I’m grateful for everything you have done for me.” I bowed to him. Dragon bends his knee on the floor as he removed small box out of his pocket and opened the box.

“Viola Love. Will you marry me?” Dragon proposed as joy tears were ready to fall out of my eyes.

“Yes.” I answered as he put the ring on my finger, stood up off the ground, and we kissed in the circle.

“Now it’s time to mark each other as an honor for your spouse's life.” Moira said as everyone took their feathers from the small table and held it close to their chests as a spiritual prayer to the new ghoul couples. Our leaders and mentors held onto the shells of burning sage and slowly circled around to cleanse both of us from negative spirits coming into our way. Dragon kissed the side of my lower neck and bite into my skin as I kissed his side of his lower neck and bite into him. Deeply, we bit into each other’s neck. We kept our mouths planted on our necks until our leaders and mentors finished burning the sage. We released our mouths and kissed our lips as everyone clapped their hands for both of us. Dragon wrapped his arms around me and touched my nose with his nose.

“I love you, honey.” Dragon smiled with his forehead on mine.

“I love you, too honey.” I smiled with my arms around him.

We walked to the diner table holding hands as Jiggalo popped open the bottles and poured our glasses first. He poured a glass for our leaders and everyone before he poured for himself. They raised their glasses to both of us sitting on the end of the table together. Ezra and Jiggalo worked very hard cooking huge platters of deer meat outside in the smoke house together for hours. We clicked each others wine glasses and took our first drink tonight. Everyone raised their glasses to us and drank up. Ezra placed his glass on the table to lift the lids off the two big platters of meat.

“Dig in, fellas! Enjoy!” Ezra said with excitement.

Dragon grabbed my plate as he used the tongs to move the meat off the platter, put it on my plate, and served it to me before he got his meal. I sliced the meat and took a bite. The juices tasted like how my brother, and I cooked our fresh meat growing up in the city. Dragon fell in love with my family’s cooking. After supper is finished, we go outside to the back of the house to go sit by the bonfire. Banjo and Hercules started playing Nordic music as they sat in front of the fire and people danced in the snow. Shae grabbed a deer bone off the table and ran outside to sit on the porch to chew as Moira stepped out to watch everyone have a good time. Shae stopped chewing for a moment as the phone rings on the coffee table of the living room. Moira ran back inside to answer the phone as she saw the caller's name that it was Kaye calling from work.

“Hi hun, what’s going on?” Moira asked.

“Hi love, I know you guys are in the middle of celebrating for Viola and Dragon’s engagement. We need to evacuate the area!” Kaye alerted.

“What do you mean?” Moira asked with high concerns.

“A killer flock is sighting in the woods near Aogiri Tree Reservation! We are calling all members of the TSC and Air Force members!” Kaye said.

“I’ll call the wolves to track it down! I’m going to stop the party now!” Moira as she hung up and ran back outside.

“EVERYONE STOP THE PARTY AND EVACUATE NOW!” Moira shouted.

“What’s going on?” Dragon asked with worry.

“Kaye just called from work! There is a killer flock around our area! We need to activate our kagune and evacuate now!” Moira shout as she whistled for the wolves to come out and go find the killer flock.

Everyone activated their kagunes and roam into the forest to find the flock. Seika ran inside the house to the room with her child. Dragon and I ran back into the house to secure the home together while everyone is in the forest to search for the flock. The Ravens came to join with the search crew. Ivan and Malcolm were called for back up.

“Everyone needs to stay quiet and hidden in the shadows. If you noticed a strong turkey scent, that is an indication that you are close to a killer flock.” Ivan whispered.

Few minutes later, one of the wolves saw a dark red feather fall on the ground from the trees farther from the distance and smell a farm animal. The wolf growled as it ran fast into the direction where the feather is flying. It was a tall naked female ghoul with long darker black and red hair wondering around the forest as the other ghouls scent a very strong turkey farm smell coming from her. The wolf stayed back to observe the woman until she transformed into a giant bird with a petite body with big breasts and wide hip and her feet became bird feet with claws. The woman’s head transformed into a turkey's head with same long hair, black beak, sharp snood, and ghoul eyes. She had black and red feathers with wide hands with long nails.

“Is this flock a ghoul like us?” Hercules asked.

“Unfortunately, she’s a ghoul like us. It indicates that Takers must’ve turned her into a killer flock.” Ezra explained.

“She came from the Sawyer. We must detain her without killing. She could be severely damaged.” Moira said as Hercules stepped out of the shadows front in center.

“ALLAN HERCULES ZEN! GET BACK IN THE SHADOWS NOW!” Ivan shouted as Hercules kept walking carefully.

“Excuse me, miss! We are not here to hurt you! We have come to save you! If you could please form back into yourself, lets talk please!” Hercules reassured the flock.

“Why do you want to help me?” The flock questioned him with a cranky tone.

“You are a person like us! I believe you can free yourself from this madness!” Hercules said to the flock as she lifts her foot off the ground and tried to swing at him and he jumped away from her.

“Why do you f*****g care?! You don’t even know me!” The flock shouted in anger as she tried to go after him then Hercules jumped on top of the trees.

“I may not know you, but it doesn’t mean I can’t save you! Forgive me for pestering!” Hercules shouted as he retreated back into his spot.

“Go f**k yourself!” The flock spoke in anger as she spread her wings and flew up to try and catch him. Jiggalo grabbed a tranquilizer gun and shoot her in the ass. She fell onto the ground and transformed back into her form. The wolves circled around her laying on the ground knocked out and howled for back up. TSC threw a huge net covering as they made sure that she’s fully detained. Hercules jumped off the tree and landed on the ground. Moira marched to Hercules, pulled him to the side by the ear, and smacked him upside the head.

“Ow! What was that for…?” Hercules questioned rubbing on his ear.

“What the hell were you thinking? Are you trying to get yourself f*****g killed?” Moira lectured him.

“I was trying to save someone.” Hercules explained.

“You do realize you can’t reason with a killer flock who is severely traumatized by Takers right? It would take maximum of treatments to help an unstable ghoul. This investigation is going to take a few weeks. Fair warning, Seika is going to be super pissed with you. You need to tell her yourself.” Moira said as Hercules walked with his head down.

I walked downstairs to the living room to Dragon sitting in front of the fireplace. I sat next to him as he moved his hand on to my thigh to hold my hand.

“Please don’t tell me the Takers are responsible for the killer flock sightings.” Dragon said with tears in his eyes.

“Trust me, honey. They better not be anymore Takers at the Sawyer that has shut down years ago.” I said as I massage the palm of his hand. Our crew finally arrived home as Hercules ran upstairs to check on Seika and his child. Dragon and I turned our heads to them as Moira sat on the couch with Shae next to her.

“It turns out that the killer flocks were from the Sawyer, but I don’t know who could’ve been behind this. The killer flock is tranquilized and taken into custody for an investigation. We’ve believed that a woman who was turned into a killer flock must be severely traumatized its all thanks to Hercules who almost got himself killed by talking to her of course.” Moira mentioned to us as we heard Seika yelling at Hercules upstairs.

“Leave it up to her to deal with his ass.” Dragon spoke quietly.

“That’s because I confronted him for being an i***t. He didn’t follow orders. He might get disciplined with two weeks of suspension from the fields.” Moira responded.

“Yeah, true.” Dragon said as he sat back on the couch.

“We can’t plan your wedding yet sadly due to the circumstances that it could be another battle. We need to figure out a safe clearance in the forest.” Moira mentioned as she answered her phone and received more updates from Kaye.

“The flock is detained in the cochlea in the medical ward. I will be home tomorrow morning with more information, love.” Kaye said.

“Thank you, hun. We will see you tomorrow morning.” Moira said.

The killer flocks are probably hidden in the woods farther away from the reservation. We are not sure where did they came from. I guess all of us will find out from the cyber team.
