Walking around our home city, the presence of the missing male ghoul citizens begging for help in the deplored situation felt heavy. Missing persons posted all over the media of their husbands, fiancés, boyfriends, fathers, nephews, and friends who are dearest to them. They are crying out for help. The Wolf team released the wolves to investigate the Cloquet Valley forest. The Ravens flew up in the air to skim through the trees and found an electric metal cage of one of the missing men alive and breathing. The wolves howled from the distance as they sense danger in the area. The killer flocks came out of the forest as the Ravens are set in battle to deal with the flocks. Dragon and Hercules jumped around the forest to figure out a way to release the hostages out of the cages.
“Do not touch the cages! Those electric cages are contaminated! TSC are on their way to bring you safety gear urgently!” Sexy Bae said on the radio as helicopter dropped off the gear to them. Father stepped in his safety suit to help two guys on how to cut the right cords to shut off the electrical inner parts of the locks.
“We found more hostages! Safety gear on!” Juuzou squad shouted from the distance as they disconnected the cords to save the young males.
Five flocks tried to fly into the trees to stop us from freeing the hostages as more of us female ghouls jumped up on top of the trees to defeat the flocks.
“HOW DARE YOU RUIN OUR SLAVE TERRITORY!” One of the flocks screamed.
“I’m sorry. Say it again?” Hinami asked a smart-ass question and whacked it in the throat super hard with her kagune as the flock grunted and fell on its back. Goat team tossed a net over the flock and shoot with a tranquilizer. “Night night.” Banjo smiled.
“You're going to be okay, kiddo.” Seidou reassured a frightened ghoul teenage boy as he helped him out of the cage and carried him to the emergency rescue.
The hostages are all released out of the electric cages and transported in rescue busses with medical team taking care of the ghoul patients on the way back to the cities. Unfortunately, the wolves found a creek of some deceased male victims floating on freezing water. The rage inside of a mother ghoul who volunteered with the rescue group saw her missing son lying faced down in the water. “Ma’am! You cannot go near the killer flocks!” She ignored the Goat members, jumped up in the sky, and stabbed a killer flock in the chest with her kagune. The killer flock fell onto the ground as the mother came back to wounded flock as she went out control sliced its throat and stabbed it multiple times in the chest. “YOU MURDERED MY CHILD!” The boys mother screamed harshly. Wolf members and Goat members tried to calm her down but there was no stopping her from unleashing her anger by destroying the killer flock on the ground until she stopped and cried hard for the lost of her son. They called for back up to get this under control. We were still fighting the killer flocks in the sky. I used my feathers to shoot them by the limbs to avoid them from using extra movements as Ivan tossed the net to detain them. Two more flocks left to put down. One of them tried to sneak into the forest bushes as Moira cut in front of the flock and knocked it out with her kagune as it got stuck in the trees then Malcolm shoots the dart on the butt. The last flock was not easy to tackle. It took us two hours to capture the last killer flock until I grabbed it by the wings. It scratched my arm, so I kicked in the face and placed it on choke hold for to pass out. Dragon grabbed the tranquilizer and gave it a good taste of its own medicine.
“Viola! Are you okay?” Sexy Bae asked on the radio.
“I’m good. Just a scratch on my arm.” I responded as I injected myself with the RC and poured antibiotic fluid to clean the wound as I growled because it stung like a b***h.
“Glad your taking care of the wound at once. We do not want you dying on us here.” Sexy Bae smiled on the radio.
“We have captured the rest of the flocks! Now we must guard the entire forest for an investigation!” Ivan said as the flocks taken into custody, and investigators examined the creek of bodies. The mother arrested for interfering the crime scene and killed the flock without realizing that we need to keep the killer flocks alive before anything else. The only flock that needs to be destroyed was Elettra the Queen of Flocks. It did not surprise me that Elettra is still being search everywhere. Well, death wish is coming to her soon. We investigated the forest as wolves barked in the northeast area and found a hidden cave of body parts hanging on the ceiling and walls written in blood with symbols.
“A hidden cave. I wonder where it might take us.” I said as Moira stopped for a moment.
“We cannot go far inside yet. Ezra has drones and drivable small bots on the way.” Moira said as she could smell Elettra’s scent coming from the inside of the cave.
“Wow. That is a gigantic cave. If Elettra is hiding in this cave, this may require a lot of back up. We need to set up more traps all over the area.” Jiggalo whispered.
“Alright, miss troglodyte. If you are hiding in that cave, I will make sure you Hakujin’s never exist again.” Dragon expressed his anger as he prepared his kagune.
“Don’t make decisions yet.” Moira said as he put his kagune away.
Ezra jumped from a helicopter to drop off the tiny mice bots and flying robotic bats into the cave as Cyber team activated the drones in every spot of the forest.
“Everyone needs to retreat on base! This forest is under investigation. The cave is a catch 22 right now.” Ivan said on the radio as we hitched a ride back home to recover. We arrived back on TSC base to go eat and rest. Medic team walked me into the clinic to examine the scratch on my arm for viral infections as it decided to heal itself. I mentioned that I gave myself and RC injection and pour fluid on my wound. They ran blood testing to make sure that I was still safe to go back on the fields. Few minutes later, my blood test came back clear as they let me off the hook. My crew sat waiting in the cafeteria as Dragon pulled out a seat for me.
“Hi, Viola. How’s your arm feeling?” Moira asked.
“Blood testing is clear. Arm healed itself.” I said pulling my sleeve back down.
“Good! Glad they didn’t have to quarantine you.” Hercules smiled.
“I am happy that you are well, honey. We are going to be stuck on base for a few hours until Cyber team let us know if they find anything.” Dragon took my hand and leaned on my shoulder.
“It is a possibility that Elettra might be hiding in that cave. If she is in there, prepare for the final mission. Remember Viola, you will have our support. Everyone will back you up.” Moira said as Ezra arrived in the cafeteria.
“Well, it is a long distance walk inside the cave. However, mice bots did find something interesting.” Ezra opened his laptop and reviewed the cameras installed in the bots.
“Inside the cave, mice bot found a secret hidden basement door. My team members used a hijack mouse to unscrew the basement door. TSC member volunteered to remove the basement door for our bots to enter. Bats spotted wire cables planted on the walls underneath some type of fabric. We found an open door to a room. This is going to shock you. We found Hakujin’s rotting skull head hanging on the Christmas reef, computer, and pile of stolen items from the men and boys. That is the room that Queen of Flocks sleeping. They called in a raid search in the cave. No sign of Elettra. Investigators are in the cave collecting evidence right now.” Ezra showed us the camera footages.
“That means Elettra is still hiding around north.” I spoke.
“She probably knew that we were at the forest and chose to escape from us.” Sexy Bae said sipping her coffee.
“We should be okay to go home but keep an eyes and ears open for emergency mission. Let’s seriously hope this will be our final justice.” Ezra said as he closed the laptop.
A day later, Seika left the house early noon to fly across the cities pay a visit to meet with Larissa at the facility. She tried to contact Hercules, but his phone shut off. She asked the TSC if they were able to allow visitors. They were able to let her in the facility. The guard walked her to the visitation center as they walked Larissa behind a glass window.
“Who are you?” Larissa gave the confused expression.
“My name is Seika Takizawa. Technically in a relationship with your brother Hercules and had a son Neko together and…” Seika tried to speak as Larissa interrupted.
“And what? Do you expect sympathy or something?” Larissa asked.
“Of course not. I just wanted to get to know his family. Was it the wrong time to visit?” Larissa asked with her head down.
“Wrong time and place for everything, but it is whatever. You already invited yourself here anyway. Well, what are you waiting for? Speak your mind dear.” Larissa sat down on the chair and sip her coffee.
“I failed my family and the night watch team. More importantly I failed Hercules as his girlfriend. I failed as a mother to Neko. I lost control of myself that I do not know who I am anymore. If I could go back in time and fix them… I’m sorry that I assumed about you. I did not know that your his sister. I lashed out at everyone without thinking twice, fooled in the wrong crowd, and constantly drink just to not feel a damn thing.” Seika sobbed on the table as Larissa sigh for a moment.
“Well, I am not sure if he will allow me to say this, but you could always go to our parent's house and you could always make it up to him. The last time him and I spoke was last week on visitation times. He did tell me few things, but that is between two of you. Just learn from everything that happened and talk to each other. I hate to cut this conversation short but I gotta step outside on recess time for sunlight. Listen dear, my brother still loves you and you are not alone if that helps ease your mind.” Larissa stepped out of the room to follow the guard as Seika held the necklace in the palm of her hands in tears.
Seika decided to take the city transit to Shibuya town as she walked alone in middle of the crowd debating if she really wanted to show up at his parent’s house. After long hours of walking, an epiphany kicked into her mind. It was getting dark as she left Shibuya town to head over to his parent’s house. Seika took a moment to take deep breaths before she knocked on the door. Hercule’s mother answered the door as she did not expect Seika to show up tonight.
“Yes?” His mother asked.
“I need to talk to him. I want to see our son. May I come in?” Seika asked fidgeting her fingers.
“Let me ask my son first before I let you in our home.” His mother said as she kept the door cracked open until she came back.
“You may come in. Only in one condition that you do not cause any problems. If you start problems, I have the right to remove you off the premises. Understood?” His mother gave her a gentle warning.
“Yes ma’am.” Seika acknowledged and walked inside until she saw Neko watching Reading Rainbow in his crib of the living room.
“Come in my room.” Hercules said as he closed the door.
“Now I need you to be honest with me. Have you come to your senses?” Hercules asked with his arms crossed.
“Yes, I hurt you and our son. I did hit rock bottom, lashed out at everyone, and drinking heavy. I was selfish, jealous, ignorant, neglectful, and petty by emotional cheating because I thought I was in competition with another woman. I didn’t know Larissa is your sister. I am sorry for everything.” Seika confessed her feelings.
“I forgive you. I do appreciate you being openly honest. I know both of us struggled with balance between work, home, childcare, and emergency missions. Balancing can be difficult. I’m sorry that I did not tell you about my sister. I promise you are not in competition with anyone. You will always be my priority along with our child no matter what, but I need you to understand that sometimes I need to take care of business much as I didn’t want to do side missions. You can’t just do self destructive things. Let’s work through our issues together. I need you to promise me that you will get help.” Hercules stated as he reassured her.
“I will pick myself up back on my two feet.” Seika hugged him as he kissed her forehead.
