Najma turned to look up at the Space Needle towering a few hundred yards away. She would enjoy the show. She looked at her phone to press send, when bullets ricocheted off the building she was leaning against. Small chunks of concrete tore into her and the phone again fell from her hand. A lone figure was running directly at her. She dived toward the phone. The figure stopped and once again a barrage of bullets kicked up all around her. He was closer now and so were his bullets. The man was good. He now began walking slowly and taking careful aim. It was only a miracle that she had not been hit. As much as she hated failure, if the Space Needle survived, so would she.
