Evian hated having his mate so torn. He hated what Law was asking of Sundance, but he also understood it. As much as Evian’s concern was for his mate, Law’s concerns had to be for the people living in Haven Ranch, and although Sundance might not know what was totally going on here, he at least knew most—if not all—the players here, and Evian felt to his soul that they needed to know what Sundance knew, because something in him was screaming there was more going on here than some cattle thieving.
