"Is everything okay with Peyton, Nick?" I asked him as I passed him on the way out of the gym.
"What do you mean?"
"Is she okay? Did anything happen today while you were watching her?"
"No, nothing Alpha, Luna and your mother seemed to of had a good day."
"I see."
"Although she did seem a little spaced out in the car, and they did talk about her mother which I know now is dead."
"And can you remember what was said?"
"Not really, I tried not to listen it seemed like a personal conversation but your mother basically said she was glad she could be there for Luna Peyton with her mother not being able too, and after that Luna Peyton did seem a little down. I mean she's bound to be, any woman would want their mother there on these kinds of occasions."
