chapter Two

I sat in the car with Ethan as he drove quietly, his parent and sister had already left in another car while I was stuck with him.The car was so silent that I could almost hear my heartbeat clearly and I hoped Ethan could not hear it and suddenly my thoughts drifted back to my family,I missed them so much I also missed Blenda.I remember the sad look on my brother's face as he gave me a hug before I left my brother and I used to be so class until few years ago when he started working with father so he would be able to take over the kingdom when father was no more.we barely had time to play and discuss like we used to and I was sure he would get married soon.I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice when the car came to a halt in a very huge and beautiful house "we're home"Ethan said looking at me and that brought me back to reality he stepped out of the car and came over to open the door for me hmm a gentleman I thought,I stepped out and he held his hand out and I placed my hand on his and he led me inside the house.The house was very huge and I lived in a palace throughout my life so the size house was not that surprising."Welcome sir welcome ma"a middle age woman and a man greeted as we stepped in "Thank you "I replied with a smile "This is my wife princess Annabelle and wife this is Mrs Rose she does the housework and this is Kelvin my personal assistant"pleased to meet you ma"they said in unison "the pleasure is all mine"."Mrs Rose will show you to the room I need to speak with Kelvin I'll be up there soon"Ethan said looking at me"ok" I replied quickly nodded,I followed Mrs Kate upstairs but I could feel his gaze on me as we ascended the stairs.Mrs Rose opened the door to a really large room and stepped in while I followed

"This is where you will be staying with your husband my princess "she said looking at me with a smile"Thank you very much "I replied smiling back at her

"oh no need to thank me my princess I am more than happy to serve you " "please can you stop with the formalities we are not in the palace you can call me Annabelle "

"I'll see to that your highness I'll go and get your laugages now "

"Thank you "I said as she stepped out.I turned to look at the mirror in front of me it felt so unreal that I was now married and then I remembered I was still wearing my wedding dress and I already feeling very uncomfortable so i decided to take it off but I was having a hard time taking it off because of the corset loops but I had a hard time taking it off then I suddenly heard the door open and without looking I said "Mrs Rose please come help me with this loops so I can take off my dress" but I got no reply then I turned to see Ethan standing there I was dumbfounded and my cheek immediately flushed with embarrassment "oh I'm so sorry I thought it was missing Rose"I said looking down embarrassed

"it's okay wife I can help you with that"he said with a light chuckle and walked towards me .I could feel my heart beating to the extent that I thought my heart would explode and burst out or something.Suddenly I felt Ethan loosing the loops from my dress slowly and at a certain point his hands touched my back and a felt a very cold sensation just a brush of his finger on my skin was already driving me crazy he was finally done and the dress almost dropped to the floor and I quickly held it up I had never been naked in front of a man so I was very shy ."Thank you"I said quickly and Ethan nodded as he sat on the bed

"I need to shower"

"There's the bathroom"he said as he pointed to the door behind me in the room "Thank you"I said again and hurried to the bathroom.

Ethan looked at the woman who had now become his wife,she looked so shy and timid but her beauty was one he could say he had never seen before.He was not in support of the marriage as he still had his business to take care of but his parents had insisted,his earlier plan was to just get married to please his parents and maybe divorce the woman in a month time but that plan has suddenly changed when he saw Annabelle,she looked like an angel as she descended the stairs and the red gown really suited her fair skin when he took her hand to kiss her ,her skin felt so soft that he felt like devouring her at that moment but he had to calm down.Her shyness only enticed him the more and he couldn't wait to have her in his arms but not today he thought to himself she looked scared so he did not want to rush things he decided to wait a bit afterall she was now his.He suddenly remembered that she had not taken a towel inside and chuckled at what will happen when she realizes and how she would come out and face him, he wanted to stay and tease her but decided to leave the room to make her comfortable.

I had just finished taking my bath but I could not find a towel then it suddenly dawned on me that I had not taken a towel with me "s**t" I said hitting my head was I supposed to go out naked with Ethan in the room nooooo I suddenly shivered at the thought of that. I just sat back in the bath tub not knowing what to do then after about 10 minutes I noticed that the room was quite so I thought that maybe he had fallen asleep then I poked my head through the door and realized that he was not there .I was relieved then I walked out of the bathroom tiptoeing as if he was hiding something.when I got there I noticed that Mrs Rose had brought in my laugages so I quickly took out my night gown and put it on ,I did my night skin care routine and applied my scented oils and lotion then suddenly the thought of Ethan touching me that night sent shivers down my spine my thoughts were interrupted by Mrs Rose who came to ask what I wanted to eat for dinner but I told her I wasn't hungry and just wanted to go to bed I also asked about Ethan and she said he was in his study.Immediatly she left I went to the bed and crawled under the duvet I was still having a hard time sleeping then few minutes later Ethan walked in and I pretended to be asleep I watched him walk into the bathroom then few minutes later he came out and the scent of his shampoo and body wash filled the whole room and I inhaled it slowly.suddenly I felt the weight of another person on the bed the thought of him on the same bed with me made my heart to start beating so fast and Ethan seemed to have heard it cause he spoke to me

"still awake?"

"yes "I replied slowly

"I guess you must be tired"

"yes"

"I am too so goodnight"he said and covered the duvet on himself

"Goodnight"I said feeling relieved but at the same time also worried why didn't he touch me is it that he doesn't want me ,these thoughts kept on disturbing till I finally drifted off.
