The Beginning

Rose PFV.

“Amanda?” I whisper, and she squirms in her bed. “Amanda!?” I say louder and she pulls her blanket over her head and groans. “Amanda!!?” I scream and jump on top of her giggling as she fails to posh me off her. “Amanda, come on, it’s time to get up. I hope you didn’t forget what today is moms already downstairs setting things up. Yes, I remember now get off me” groaned my still haff asleep twin as she finally pushed me off her. 

Before I could even get up from where I landed on the ground, the door burst open, ravelling our mom, dad and older brother with big smiles on their faces as they sing happy birthday to us and my sister finally sits up to see it. “Happy birthday, my darlings,” mom says and rushes to huge me and my twin. “I can’t believe you two are already 16 time gos by just too fast.” Then our brother come and hugs us. “We will see you both downstairs after you're all dressed. No school today because we don’t know when you guys will shift, so it’s better to stay home.”

With that I “squeal” loudly again and jump up back on to my sister’s bed and under the covers with her and yank her shoulders back so she’s laying back down facing me. “I can’t believe today is the day I can’t wait to shift I wonder what my wolf will look like or what she will sound like or how big she will be” just as I’m about to scream again my sister rushes to cover my mouth with both her hands and gives me a death glare. “I swear if you scream again I’m kicking you out of my bed agen” I nod my head and mumble in to her hand yes then she moved her hand and smiled for the next ten minutes we just lay there. Being twins, we didn’t need words to understand each other so most of the time we just sat in silents when we where alone. It was nice.

 After that we heard our dad say Herry up so we sat up and before I knew it I’m being pushed out of bed as my sister screams. “I get the bathroom first” I rush to get to my feet and run to the door before she could close it, but I was just sec too late and slammed in to the non-open door. “Dam,” I scream as I had banged my elbow on the door handle and got a minor cut. Because of my wolf healing, it will be gone in a minute, but it still stung. “Fine, have the bathroom first, but that means I get the blue dress. Fine,” she yells back from the shower and I rush to get the dress out and set up for tonight. Bothe dresses are the same design and fabric, there’re just different colours, so people who don’t know us can tell us apart. Mine is a dark blue Aline with a soft sweet heart bust I lay out the marching aquamarine jewelry set that machismo my eyes and set out hers. She has the same style, but hers is a dark wine red i set out the same set of jewelry but hers are rubes.

Just then my sister walks out of the shower now, dressed in her new dark jeans and a loose gray tank top. “My goddess took you long enough” I cross my arms and star at her. She just smirks at me. “Well, next time be faster. I can’t help that you're slow, I’m not slow you cheated” I walk to the bathroom door as she smirks again. I rush to get showered then getting dressed en I leave the bathroom. Amanda is still messing with her hair. I giggle a little. Because our hair is really long and thick and if not done right, it can get really curly and frizzy. “Come on, rose help me. Ok ok” I giggle again as I walk over and grab the brush and brush and straiten it. Then I grab the red scrunch and pull it in to a ponytail, then style the little loose ends and long bangs around her face. When I’m done, she looks in the mirror and smiles in approval. “Omg, I love it, really. You should be a hairdresser, you would be so good at it. I don’t know, I just do it for fun on you so I know it looks good on me” I giggle at her and she frowns. “Rose I mean it just because your the Alfa’s daughter Doesn’t mean you can’t have your own life and a job outside the pack. You could even open your own salon and hire other non Warrior she-wolfs to work there to it could help you and the pack.” I smile at her through the mirror. “Fine, ofter our first shift today, I’ll talk to dad because ill need his permission and hope he will send me to beauty school, OK?” she screeches and jumps up to hug me tight “I swear rose you won’t regret it. Ya I hope not now it’s your tern to do my hair” I sit in front of the mirror and watch as she does my hair and she does it the same way I did hers but for me she puts in the blue scrunchy and the does my bangs and loose ends and now we look the same again. I am smile up at her.

After a second look in the mirror and a few tweaks we are ready and head out the door and down the stair when we walk into the kitchen where our parents and older brother are waiting at the breakfast nook with piles of all our favourites bacon, eggs, toast, waffles, Sausages, hash browns and cinnamon rolls. I didn’t even realize when I started salivating, tell my brother started to smirk and softly laugh with his hand over his mouth, trying to stop. didn’t think I was that hungry. Then I heard my stomach growl and so did my sisters. I blushed in embarrassment, then our mom waved us over. “Come on girls, it’s totally normal for young wolfs to be starving the day of their first shift and you girls need to eat as much as you can to store up energy for it.” Then she looks to our brother and glared at him and he still giggles for a while, tell we sat down and we all begin to eat.
