The morning came with light shining through the windows and I hid my face in the pillows. I already ignored one alarm and knew I needed to get out of bed soon to get ready for work. However, work was starting to feel like something Lily and Cole orchestrated rather than something I earned. Lily was up already and I could smell a fresh pot of coffee, a first for her in a while. i wondered if i was enabling her drinking habits by letting her stay here.
