I sat up in bed. “Why did you learn blood based magic?” I asked Alice who just got out of the shower but had already gotten dressed. Not many students at the order taught themselves blood based magic. We’re taught for so long that dark magic is bad and that blood based magic leads to dark magic use.
She looked through her suitcase. “I learn a lot of magic outside of school and I didn’t feel the need to stray away from blood based magic specifically. I want to be the best magic user I can be so I don’t limit myself.” I admired that. “Blood based magic is one of the more advanced magics so I want to learn it sooner than later.
