Ruth’s P.O.V We didn’t see Paze again for another three days. I felt bad about it because I knew Jezebeth was waiting for her to come back. She didn’t call or anything. I was starting to think Paze wasn’t the most reliable person. “Paze is back.” Austin said as he walked by our open door.  Jezebeth got up and I followed her out of the room and down some of the stairs. “Paze?” Paze looked up at us on the staircase. “Oh hey, I just came to pick some things up then I’m heading back to work.” I wondered if she was even planning on saying anything to us before she left.
