ALEX Pacing in my room, I'd stop at intervals to check my phone, and the main gate. A part of me wanted to believe that Arrde would show up anytime to steal me away from this doom called mansion. It's almost midnight, yet nothing from Arrde. My wolf was still. She wouldn't have heard anything about the deal with Myron yet. I made the sly, Myron, vow not to tell her anything--- or Arrde would go haywire if she found out. Not like I trust him, of course, Myron is arrogant and capable of going over his promises. Still, it's always the best move to have your enemy on as the watchman instead of your friend. A sigh slipped through my lips as I crumbled on my bed drenched in mixed emotions.
