The Enchanted One's

Chapter one

My head throbbed as I woke up to blinding sunlight seeping into my room from my window with my mom towering over me.

"I told you to wake up!" I groaned as she yelled and sat up. I had a huge headache, it was hard to even hear what she said when I had people's thoughts from everywhere coming at me the moment I wake up.

I mumble a small "sorry" and got up. I walked past my mom and went downstairs to the kitchen, getting a drink of water I sat across my dad at the table.

'I need to finish my work, I'm too busy right now' his thoughts immediately channel to my head. When I was 3 I started hearing thoughts without an explanation, no one even knows about it. not even my family. All the voices coming to my head, hurt. A LOT.

Once my mom came downstairs with my brother Loid, she started to make breakfast. The smell of pancakes always made me feel better in the mornings. I sighed a bit and waited for mom to finish cooking. Once she was done she placed a plate in front of me.

"Might wanna eat up, we are gonna be busy today" she smiled as she patted my head and gently kissed my cheek.

After I ate breakfast I went upstairs and got dressed. I put on a red shirt and blue pants. After that I debated whether I should put on a jacket or not. I decided to put on a jacket and then went downstairs to my mom.

For the rest of the day I was helping my mom get groceries, walk the dog, help the neighbors move into their no house and helper her with the garden. Once I finished helping my mom I went inside and found Loid.

"Hey Loid, wanna play soccer?" I grinned as he gave me an excited look and immediately jumped up. "I'll go get the soccer ball!" I laughed and went outside to set up the soccer goals. I froze when I felt like someone was watching me.

I looked over my shoulders cautiously but no one was around. I let out a sigh of relief and then sat on the ground, waiting for Loid to come with the soccer ball.
