I looked away from them because I didn’t want them to see the tears in my eyes. Barbara staggered out of the truck. Despite the c*****e, she couldn’t stop giggling. “Bebe, what were you thinking?” Barbara asked, rubbing the back of her neck. She pointed to the street where people were scattering up the street away from the house. Some were lying unconscious and trampled; others were crawling on the sidewalk, looking at us through the massive hole that we put in the living room.
