“So how long have you been here?” I asked into the darkness. I knew she was there. sat across the small cell. Satin her corner not moving. But I knew she was watching me, and I could feel her probing at my mind it was a gentle caress, but I felt it anyway. I felt it and I protected myself from it. She would not get to me through my mind, and she knew it.
just like I knew she wasn’t who she said she was. She wasn’t Ffion Llewellyn. Not that I told her I knew. And if she sensed it, she didn’t say anything. Neither did she try and come closer and of that I was glad because she creeped me out. I couldn’t put my finger on why. She was only a child after all. But I just couldn’t shake the feeling that she was dangerous.
