Gabe I didn’t immediately open my eyes; nausea still rolled my stomach and drew bile up from my throat. in fact, I felt pretty rotten, and it took me several long minutes to realise that I wasn’t sick and laying in my bed. No, there was no bed, no perfect life. there had just been Ffion and the spell she had dragged me into. And remembering that I remembered everything. I could suddenly feel the twigs and small rocks digging into my back. I wasn’t in a bed; I was laying outside. I could hear the wind blowing though the trees above my head and faintly the sounds from a distant road. And I wanted to know where I was, but I didn’t open my eyes. I already knew the moment I did it would make everything that had happened real. I so desperately wanted it to be dream. Ffion had betrayed us all
