Priscilla’s POV I collapse into Brenda’s arms, sobs tearing through me. My body shakes, my throat tightens, word spilling in broken fragments. “You don’t understand… he spoke to me like I was nothing. Just an employee.” Brenda holds me tighter, her familiar scent anchoring me to reality. But the pain is too sharp.
