CHAPTER TWENTY
Time seemed to fly after that for both Anna/Rebecca and Blake. Rebecca. She found it hard to get used to her real name. Rebecca returned to her apartment in town, since she had so many statements to give and things to do. The place had never been disturbed, so far as she could tell. She had always had the rent set up to be paid by her bank, so it was still current. Blake stayed for a day, but had to get back to the running of the carnival as they turned and started their return trip for the season. A hearing was held one month after DeSilva’s death which cleared Rebecca of any wrong doing, in so much as she had shot him in self-defense with witnesses to that fact.
