CHAPTER TEN
Blake had stood outside Anna’s trailer room for about 20 minutes. Even as he started to give up and go back to his own trailer, her door had opened. His first thought was that she was about to run again, to leave them all behind. Leave him behind. He started to move forward to stop her. Even as he did he realized she didn’t have her jacket on, so he hoped that wasn’t the case. He hesitated as she headed toward the ride area of the carnival, then Blake kept quiet and followed at a distance, keeping her in sight.
