CHAPTER ELEVEN
The next day dawned bright and warm. A very pleasant summer day. Anna was still a bit tired. Even though she had had a peaceful sleep, it had been a short night and she felt reasonably good. For the first time since joining the carnival, she went around smiling. She was still determined to leave the carnival to save them all, but she was also determined to enjoy her time while there. She thought about Blake, about all that he had said and what she wished could happen between them. The thought made her happy and sad at the same time.
