The thing that hit William in the back stopped him from killing the warden.
"You talk too much! Didn't you see I was resting?" Seraphine said.
All of her wounds had healed except for the ones on her hands.
So, to stop Alpha William from killing the warden, Seraphine kicked the ax onto the floor, where it hit Alpha William in the back.
William let go of the warden and turned around to face Seraphine as he took the axe out of his back.
"It looks like Teacher Mayer didn't teach you how to properly greet your king," William said as he threw the ax that had been taken off his back.
"I'm sorry, but I don't follow what my teacher says. I also don't think kings like you, William, should be respected "Seraphine spoke back.
William laughed, "Even in that state, your tongue is still sharp."
