Something that worries me happened yesterday. The news of Darius' involvement in Agara's leadership had spread far and wide, including here. Perseus recovers, but his heart is bleeding from disappointment.
"You were aware of Darius and Agara beforehand, right?" Cass inquired.
I gave a weak nod. Cass will still know the truth even if I lie. And I'm afraid that the next time I tell her something, she won't believe me. I have a slim chance of lying to others, but not a bit to her.
