...the darkness, the only thing that provides solace and comfort. The only thing that she grew to hold close. The one thing that was always there holding her in return. ...she sits in the darkness, listening to the ever-growing silence. A gentle breeze swirls around her, a scent so enticing; it pulls her. Her bare feet stepping onto the cold stone that was the road. Moving towards the smell, looking at the decrepit houses going by. Hurt, pain, and betrayal tearing them apart. no lights; gone since she can remember. Flowers weep for the way the world has become. The sky grey with sadness; forgetting what the sun used to feel like. The trees wither and decay, becoming like savage claws fighting over the flesh that would wonder by. The world had become dark and desolate; nothing like the world she would dream of. ...she stops in her tracks. A dark figure appears in the distance; the scent growing stronger. Hesitation takes her over; the dark figure slowly moves towards her. She wants to run, but finds herself moving towards it. They stand face to face, yet not being allowed to see past the darkness. A set of beautiful blue eyes peer through the darkness. A sense of comfort and ease flow through her. She removes the dark hood, reviling his face. He wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her close. She places her hand upon his cheek; feeling a connection like no other. Her hand runs to the back of his neck, pulling him close to the nape of her neck. She feels the hesitation in him as she feels the sting of his fangs pierce her neck. She closes her eyes, as she can feel the warmth of her blood slowly drip down her chest. Becoming weak; wanting him to stop, but wanting the world to change. He looks at her, not with his blue eyes, but blood lusted. Biting his lip, he leans in and gently places his lips to hers. She begins to slowly kiss him in return, taking in a new life to call their own. Never again to know pain. Never again to long for the touch of someone else. Almost pure bliss, even though knowing that no life is easy; at least she would never have to face it alone again...
